West Side Estate looks out over whale-filled Haro Strait toward Victoria BC. The gorgeous custom log home has it all, with everything from an indoor pool and outdoor basketball court to a large fireplace and expansive deck. Other things to note *** This home is people-friendly, and not pet-friendly. The main house features a combined living room, dining room, and kitchen area. The large leather sectional faces a beautiful stone fireplace and enjoys patio window views of Haro Strait. The dining room table sits in a pocket of windows with a cathedral ceiling above and features a 180-degree water view. Several stools along the kitchen counter make a great breakfast bar as you prepare your morning eggs and pancakes on a commercial-style gas range. The main floor features a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Full beds in each of the two upstairs guest bedrooms round out the sleeping arrangements. The upstairs bathroom features a claw-style bathtub and a walk-in shower. For stays from May 15 until September 30, a main attraction for your stay at West Side Estate will no doubt be the pool house featuring a large swimming pool and sauna. A pickleball court is located between the garden and the pool house, which puts this home at the top in terms of exceptional amenities. The waterfront area has tide pools to explore at low tide and is the best venue for the whales that often swim by and feed along the western side of San Juan Island! PLEASE NOTE: Use of the pool is optional during the shoulder and quiet season. Should you want to use the pool and spa, there will be a $100 per day additional fee. Please make a note when you book the reservation if you would like to use of the pool and spa during the quiet and shoulder season. There is no additional fee for use of the pool and spa May 15 through September 30th. Also, please keep in mind that the BBQ is not available during the Winter Season.
