Welcome to Payne Cottage! This unique family home is located on the South Shore of Madeline Island. The great room features a stone wood burning fireplace with dining room table opening to the kitchen. You will find a wonderful deck that opens from the great room to the outdoors. Payne Cottage has four bedrooms. There is a queen bedroom on the first floor opening to a deck; the second floor features two bedrooms each with two twin beds opening to a shared deck; and the fourth bedroom is a loft with a full bed and full futon. The loft is accessed by a ladder. ITEMS PROVIDED: Kitchen Basics - Dishes, Glassware, Utensils, Cutlery, Pots & Pans Refrigerator, Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster & Coffee Maker Wood Burning Fireplace Linens for each Bed Bath Towels for the number of guests listed on the reservation Charcoal Grill (please bring your own charcoal & liter fluid) We provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue, paper towel, garbage bags and hand soap for each bathroom ITEMS TO BRING: Food Beverages Condiments (including salt & pepper - WI Department of Health & Human Services requires all condiments must be removed after each rental) Additional towels for going to the beach (bath towels provided are for use inside the property not to be taken outside or to the beach) Guests have access to the entire home. The owner is not located on the property. Guest may have interaction with the vacation management company or the grounds keeper when lawn is being mowed or garbage/recycling is being picked up. Madeline Island is serviced by the Madeline Island Ferry Line. We recommend that you bring your car over to the Island for your vacation.
