Welcome to Lake Haus Retreat on Lake Dunlap! This cozy, completely renovated lake house that can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms that can accommodate 12 guests while the casita can accommodate an additional 6 guests with 3 queen size beds, full-size bathroom, a full size refrigerator and a coffee bar. Lake Haus Retreat is the perfect spot for larger groups who want to enjoy true lake living! The space Lake Haus Retreat is a cozy lake house located just outside the New Braunfels city limits on Lake Dunlap that can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. It’s the perfect spot to gather with your family/friends and enjoy the great outdoors. Head to downtown New Braunfels or Gruene for shopping, restaurants, farmers markets, and nightlife! The home is located less than 10 minutes from Downtown New Braunfels and 15 minutes from Gruene. After a fun day on the water, relax and enjoy the back porch oasis with a plunge pool, outdoor fireplace, full outdoor kitchen, lounging area and full-size bathroom. Don’t want to miss a second of the big game while you’re in the pool? No problem! There is a large flat screen TV on the back patio for your enjoyment. Breezy sunsets under the shade of the towering oak trees on the west facing back patio are some of the best we’ve ever seen! Interior: Lake Haus Retreat consists of 2 dwellings. The main house, consisting of 3 bedrooms and 2 full size bathrooms, can accommodate a total of 12 guests. The fully stocked, open concept kitchen and dining area, has a large island and beautiful solid wood dining table. The large living room has an L-shaped sectional with a queen size foldout sleeping space. If you just have to get some work done while on vacation, there is a dedicated workspace located between the living and dining areas. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable king size bed along with a twin size daybed and twin-size trundle underneath. Complete with a beautiful, whitewashed corner brick fireplace, you are sure to enjoy this oversized master suite. There is direct access to the carport from the master suite. The secondary master, complete with a standup shower ensuite, has an additional luxurious king size bed and large wall mounted flatscreen TV. Lastly, the 3rd bedroom features 2 queen size beds as well as a large wall mounted flatscreen. Casita: The Casita is the perfect spot for those who prefer their own space while on vacation. Located separately from the main house, this nearly 600 square foot dwelling offers lots of privacy and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The Casita features 3 queen size beds, a full-size refrigerator, coffee bar and a full-size bathroom with large walk-in shower. The driveway and carport can easily fit up to 8 cars along with additional street parking in front of the casita. Lake Haus Retreat is ideal for family gatherings, reunions, small wedding events, birthday parties or anyone wanting to enjoy some much needed time on the lake! We can arrange for transportation to and from our vacation rentals. Additionally, the New Braunfels National Airport is located less than 7 miles from downtown New Braunfels making it a perfect option for our private travels. Pets will not be allowed on the furniture and crates are highly encouraged. Owners are expected to clean up after your pet outside for the consideration of other renters. Additional fees could apply if we find that your pet was allowed on the furniture or beds or if we find it was left unnecessarily messy because of the pet, and/or if we find damage to any part of the home.
