Your private studio apt offers you rest in your own wooded environment while close to the city. You will have your own private living space w/ private entry, Sleep Number Bed, double reclining couch, kitchenette with dishwasher, bathroom, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, & covered patio w/fire pit table. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable & safe space to rest & enjoy as if you were home. The apt is cleaned meticulously. Chase & Otterbein are 5-7 mins. OSU & Downtown are 20 mins away. The space You will have your own separate Air Conditioning and Heat that you control. In addition, we have two HEPA air purifiers in the studio. We follow all Covid cleaning guidelines and set up procedures for your safety. We are obsessive clean freaks so everything (including light switches & knobs) is cleaned. Then after a thorough cleaning we sanitize everything with Clorox wipes. Below is a description of the private studio with private outdoor space. In attempting to provide you with a good night's sleep we now have a Sleep Number Bed. This way you will be able to adjust your bed to the softness or firmness you personally need in your mattress. You can also raise the head or foot of the bed. In addition there are upscale sheets, blankets, and duvet for the queen size bed. You will also find your choice of pillows from soft, Hilton 's Down Medium, Westin's medium, and Brookstone Biosense Memory (which is firm). There are reading lamps on each side of the bed that move from side to side and go up and down for you reading pleasure & comfort. There is a ceiling fan above the bed for those that prefer moving air over them as they sleep. We use “clean” laundry products and have both natural & chemical cleaning products so that people have a choice of what they would prefer to use. The living space is designed for comfort and rest. It includes a leather reclining couch, tables, a large desk, a rocker, an ipong chair, bookshelves, and plenty of shelving for your personal items. There is a 50" Smart TV with the addition of Spectrum Cable above the gas fireplace. In addition, we offer a Private Guest WiFi. The small kitchenette includes a table & 2 chairs, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator, a small convection microwave oven (operates as an oven and as a microwave), 3 different types of coffee makers to choose from including a pour over, a Keurig coffee maker, & a drip coffee maker, sink with garbage disposal, toaster, electric skillet, 2 single burner induction cook plates with pots and pans,and other essentials. Let us know what else you need whether that be other kitchen equipment, spices, etc.... If we have it we will bring it down with gratitude that we can share it. There is a large walk in closet with plenty of hanging space as well as 2 dressers, a full length mirror, and an iron & ironing board. This feature along with the washer and dryer helps make it an ideal space for extended stay lodging. The bathroom has a new vanity, sink, toilet, and ceiling heater. The walk-in shower has seating. There are shelves and drawers for your personal items in the bathroom. We have selected nice towels for your use. There is a good blowdryer, lighted make-up mirror, curling iron under the sink for your use. For the bath we offer Native Body Wash, Fekkai shampoo, Fekkai conditioner, a shower cap and other extra essentials. In addition, we have many extra items in the cabinet under the sink in case you forgot something. There is also other choices under the sink for your shower wash including a special man wash and children’s organic shower/bath wash. We love nature and flowers and so depending on the time of year you will be surrounded by flowers, gardens, and the beauty of nature. Your walkway is lined with roses, hydrangeas and others flowers. Behind our wooded property is Top Golf. You will see the poles & nets as you come down our street but not from our yard. Daily you will hear birds and see deer meander through the woods or yard. Afternoons & evenings if sitting outdoors (& depending on wind and cloud cover) you may hear Top Golf’s music or perhaps wish you could. While we cannot offer smoking inside the studio but you are welcome to smoke on the patio or at the fire pit. If you enjoy nature you will see plenty of wildlife as the outside wall is floor to ceiling windows. We love birds and intentionally seek to bring them in. So there will be binoculars for you to use should you so choose. Weekly if not daily you will see deer in addition to the other common wildlife. We are a couple in our 60's. We love family and welcoming people into our space. Our aim is that you will feel comfortable, safe, find rest, peace and can enjoy your visit while in the area. In other words, we hope you will feel at home. We like to offer people a private peaceful place to retreat and feel safe while traveling this includes having a professionally monitored security system including outdoor cameras that are turned off when you are enjoying the patio. Our neighborhood is a nice one that is quiet thus we cannot support parties or renters coming to party. We hope the comfort of our space will help you to feel at home and enjoy yourself. We tend to give guests their space and so if you see us it may just be when we are watering or perhaps shoveling the snow from the walkway & driveway. If you would like less privacy we make ourselves available. We also send our guests before arrival our private mobile numbers so they can reach us with questions or needs. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access This is a private entry, private studio, private outdoor space environment that is attached to our home. You will park up close to the little fence at the end of the driveway and go down the steps following the sidewalk to your private patio and private studio. We will send you your own entry code the day before your arrival. We change the codes for each guest (taking off previous guest codes). You will also have your own private covered patio with fire-put table, chairs, bench , swing & party lights. Further out by the woods is your own private fire pit with seating & wood. If you have children there is a swing set that we would be thrilled for them to use which includes a baby swing. Our private studio is an ideal space for extended stay lodging due to you will have a large walk-in closet that includes two dressers. You will also have your own full size washer and dryer and large refrigerator & freezer. Other things to note We are a couple in our 60's. We love family, friends, offering hospitality, and meeting new people. Our goal is to offer people a private indoor & outdoor space to retreat and experience rest while feeling safe and enjoying themselves. We offer a reasonable rate hoping that it will allow people to stay a little longer in a space that feels like home and that they will in turn take care of it like it is their home.
