Fully renovated and expanded, each bedroom has a queen bed and private bath. The kitchen is fully functional so you can enjoy cooking tasty creations or just drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. A full laundry room is just off the kitchen area. The living and dining area is a wonderful co-mingled space with views out to the vineyard. Comfortable, cozy, updated--relax and enjoy the perfect home base for touring the Bourbon Trail, visiting Keeneland, taking in historical sites or enjoying a glass of wine on the front porch swing. The house is not suitable for young children. Families with children 8 years and older are welcome. Guests will have access to the entire house. Feel free to walk throughout the 15 acres, read a book on the front porch, fish down at the South Elkhorn Creek or relax on the back covered patio. I'm happy to interact as much or as little as guests want and will gladly make suggestions for touring, dining and more. I love my little "slice of heaven" and want others to enjoy it too. Saddlestone Cottage is situated on 15 acres right across the street from beautiful Equus Run Vineyards in the heart of the central Kentucky. It's easily accessible from I-64 via two exits. You are just minutes away from historic Midway, restaurants, horse farms, Keeneland, the Kentucky Horse Park, distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm. If you're working your way through the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, then this is the perfect spot from which to take day trips. Five of the distilleries are less than 25 miles away; the furthest is 75 miles away. It takes 15 minutes to get to the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington and Georgetown; 20 minutes to Keeneland and the airport. This is the perfect country retreat while being close to everything! Saddlestone Cottage is not served by public transportation. Uber, Lyft and other shared ride services do come out to the house.
