This home is ideal for a romantic escape, in-town vacation, weekend with friends, wedding party or vacation for the whole family. Our home has also been utilized for photo and video shoots, so let your imagination run wild! If you are a fan of Brownland Farm, we are also conveniently located within a couple of miles. Our home is also on every major parade route, so be sure and check into Franklin festivals and parades. The house features twelve foot ceilings, four bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens and 1 full size bed) and two baths with over 2600 sq ft of living space and 4 fireplaces. The kitchen is stocked with all of your everyday needs and includes an enormous pantry and fully equipped laundry room. At the end of the day, relax on the patio in the private backyard or enjoy the people watching on the front porch swing. The home includes a 50-60 inch “smart” TV’s in 3 rooms for your entertainment enjoyment and a unique collection of vinyl records for your listening pleasure. The home sits on a rare and level double lot and is professionally landscaped. There is a 2 car garage and private driveway in the rear with additional street parking in the front. A Weber gas grill is also available during the spring, summer and fall. An optional inflatable queen bed will allow for two additional guests. This house is truly a gem and has a character all it's own...we look forward to sharing it with you. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, except the inside of the detached garage. Other things to note Please note the home is a historic home originally built in 1880 and not new construction. It does have many updated amenities but we have tried to keep as many original features as possible. Many rooms do have fireplaces but due to safety concerns please do not use any of the fireplaces in the home. Please be respectful of the neighbors during your stay. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check-out is 10am. Please make sure to confirm with owner if you need an early check-in or late check-out. We often have people checking in and out on the same day and must leave enough time for housekeeping to clean. Smoking is not permitted in the the home. Violations are subject to and additional charge of $500 for cleaning expenses. House is stocked with starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap and coffee pods for the Keurig. Once the starter set is gone you are responsible for providing additional items. During your stay we ask that you report an maintenance issue to the owner so we can get them addressed promptly. Key Policy- There are 2 keys at the home for use during the stay. There will be a charge of $25 per key for each key not returned at check-out. Pet Policy- Pets are allowed, if they are very well house trained. However, due to the extra cleaning for other guests that may have allergies there is an additional cleaning fee of $225. Age Restrictions- Our home will not be rented to young adults under the age of 21 unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. A parent must be staying in the home at all times. All violators will be evicted with all rental payments being forfeited and additional charges may be applied. Reservations made under false pretenses are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. No Subletting-Your reservations in not transferable to any other parties. Trash day is Tuesday. If staying at the home on a Tuesday please roll trash can right outside the back gates for pick up by 7am on Tuesday. If during your stay you have more trash then what can fit in the trash can, the city will charge us an extra pick up fee which we will pass along to you or you can dispose of on your own. Please contact us if you have any questions on the trash. If you will be having a gathering at the house and know you will have excess trash, please make arrangements to dispose on your own.
