Over the past two years only one guest has gotten stuck,in a fully loaded 2whl drive van from Texas. I towed them up to the house with my truck and gave them a ride to pick up their reserved 4x4 rental. Any help you need is just a phone call away day or night. Also TaosNM is only 4hrs from Denver or summit county in Colo. and lift tickets are half the price of most resorts in Colo. Keep in mind that Aspen, for instance is 5to 8 hours from Denver depending on the weather. Our mountain is every bit as good as any resort in Colorado and often catches southern track storms that miss Colorado. Come to Taos you'll love it here. Please do not come to Taos,in ski season, with 2 wheel drive vehicles with worn highway tires. Mud and snow tires may be needed at any time. Don't forget, tempretures drop to 10 below zero in Dec. &Jan.! It can snow 2 feet overnight any tiime during ski season! So BE PREPARED. Your 2 wheel drive car will do fine but only if you have at least 2 mud & snow tires on your drive wheels.! Other things to note PET POLICY: For each additional pet after the first two requires a $150 fee Use hot tub at own risk. But you are covered by Website liability policies.
