SPACE DESCRIPTION: Decked out with historic photos and memorabilia of Capone's time in the Northwoods in the Prohibition era, it is surrounded by the woods. Decor pictures forthcoming! With glamping all the craze, this tent affords for guests much more than just another shelter in nature; this tent will help you create lifelong memories and a sense of nostalgic adventure. Its fluid lines and natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth and relaxation. This luxury tent is outfitted with a queen bed, two full-sized futons, and a kitchen table. Outdoors is home to a charcoal grill, Edison lights, a picnic table, and a firepit. There is also a common gas grill station for guests' use (located between campsites 8 and 9). A picnic table and firepit are also furnished. There are wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well. Now included with your rental rate, POV Resort provides Power Stations for each luxury tent - these provide basic electricity for lights, charging phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. Ground cover is mulch - no more tracking mud! There is parking for one vehicle with overflow parking available at the bathhouse. The campground boasts a new air-conditioned restroom trailer with four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. We deep clean it twice daily. A water station is available on the exterior of the bathhouse. NOTE - we do not provide utensils, disposable plates, etc. We do sell all of these items as well as other foods, drinks, dish soaps, etc. in our on-site general store. We also don't provide grilling utensils - but these are available for checkout in our rec room. We have purposely kept our campgrounds rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact. Glamping at POV isn't typical Northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not as close to each other as an RV park. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds. PETS: Pets are not allowed in the campgrounds to keep sounds to a minimum.
