The Lucerne Chalet is nestled in the private mountain treetops while being a five minute drive away from downtown with easy access to the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and local breweries. Excellent location to take advantage of current downtown restaurant pick up services. Inside there is an updated kitchen, a gas fireplace and two chalet style bedrooms. Soak in the mountains from the rocking chairs on the gated porch or during a relaxing stroll through the neighborhood. The space Come enjoy the mountains! We are a local Asheville-based small company that prides itself in providing all of our guests a FIVE-STAR vacation. The open floor plan is perfect for small gatherings, the many windows give an outside treetop feel to the living space. The dining room space can also be converted into a workspace if a remote working location is needed. The chalet is located in the woods, very quiet, feels 'mountain remote' but you're only minutes to shopping, delicious farm-to-table restaurants, and breweries, art studios. The location of the chalet is perfect to take advantage of local restaurant take-out services. The gated porch provides a southern mountain experience with rocking chairs and a romantic picnic table. ALL mountain roads can be steep and dark at times. They may be daunting to an inexperienced mountain driver. The Lucerne Chalet is located in a quiet mountain subdivision on a circular one-lane road. Although it's a short road with street lights, it is tight, steep, and curvy. Please try to plan your arrival during the daytime if you are intimidated by mountain roads. When Booking please list the number of people in your party and if you are bringing a dog. The pet fee will be added to your reservation. Notes asked by other guests: 1. The road to the chalet is narrow but our staff drives 18 -19 ft trucks and has no issues. The first time seems tight but after that guests are fine. 2. Downtown Asheville isn't far but we do recommend driving as it's a busy road. 3. A dog fee applies for ONE dog, plus all applicable taxes. Maximum of ONE dog with prior approval. Dogs under 50 lbs. The size and breed of your dog is needed to register them. Please note dog when making reservations. 4. No grill 5. Pack-N-Play at house. Bring your own sheets. Its in the bedroom closet. Guest access You will have full access to the entire home/property. Other things to note THIS IS A NON-SMOKING/VAPING HOME. DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals other than dogs due to allergies. A dog fee applies for ONE dog, plus all applicable taxes. Maximum of ONE dog with prior approval. Dogs under 50 lbs. The size and breed of your dog is needed to register them. Please note dog when making reservations. Winter: Please note that we do experience snow on occasion. The HOA does a great job of keeping the roads scraped but they only scrape after the snow ends. So, please be aware of the weather and know that there is the potential for snowy weather. Please plan accordingly. Please respect the neighbors around you when enjoying yourself outside. If your dog has joined you, please pick up after them so others can enjoy the grounds.
