This home can be rented as the entire 4 BR/2 BA home or as two separate 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartments. This listing is dedicated to the “lower” apartment. See our other listings for the “upper” apartment as well as the entire house. NOTE: The total tax due for a booking for this property is 7.3% calculated on rent + fees. If you reserve this property through a listing site that does not collect the entire 7.3% tax required I will need to collect the remaining tax from you after your booking is confirmed. Thank you for your understanding. ABOUT THE HOME When we purchased this home in 2017 it was completely updated with fresh paint, new flooring, new carpeting, and new updated bathrooms. Additionally, we furnished the home with all new furniture, bedding, linens, TVs, and the kitchen equipped with new dishes, glassware, cookware, small appliances. The downstairs apartment has its own separate exterior door for privacy and security. Once inside you’ll find two bedrooms and one full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized bed; the other bedroom has two twin sized beds. Your group will enjoy relaxing and hanging out in the spacious "Liberty University" themed family room (or "rec room") downstairs which is equipped with a 55" HD flat-screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD player and video library. NOTE: The TV is equipped with Roku live TV channels and streaming capabilities. You can either sign into your own premium streaming services using the apps on the TV (such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video) or stream content from your mobile devices. (Cable TV channels are not provided.) A full-sized washer & dryer are located on the downstairs level. On the ground level in the shade of the upper deck is an old-fashioned porch swing where you can relax in the quiet atmosphere of this pastoral setting. NOTE: The house does not have an outdoor grill. There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles. NOTE: The downstairs apartment does not have access to the kitchen or the screened porch which are located upstairs. However there is a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the downstairs apartment and a nice patio on the ground level out back with a nice old-fashioned porch swing. HOUSE RULES We would welcome your reservation if: •You are over the age of 25 years & are willing to provide a copy of your valid ID •You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed •You are not a smoker •You do not want to bring a pet •Your party does not consist of more than 4 people CHECK-IN TIME: 4:00 PM local time CHECK-OUT TIME: 10:00 AM local time Guest access You will have the private use of the entire downstairs floor apartment, including the patio out back with old fashioned wooden swing. Other things to note After your reservation has been accepted: *You will be required to provide your contact info (email & phone number) *Guest must sign & return our rental agreement & provide a copy of your valid ID within 48 hours after the reservation has been accepted.
