It has log siding, with subtle stone trim, and sits on 7+ acres, overlooking the horse barn and pasture. Our home is licensed and inspected by the state of South Dakota as a legitimate vacation rental. The wraparound porch invites quality time in the fresh air of the Hills with sunrise and sunset views. While the mountain air cools the house comfortably, central air conditioning is available for those rare hot days; as well as a furnace, should the temp be just a bit too cool. Offering 2 private bedrooms and 1 loft/bedroom, this home provides plenty of personal and communal space for up to 6 folks. A full kitchen and laundry room round out the home. New carpeting was installed in 2019. A garage is included for your vehicle, whether it's 4 wheeled or 2. The master bedroom (12'x10') with a queen bed is located on the main floor. It has an ensuite bathroom (also accessible from the kitchen) with a standard tub and shower combination. The second bedroom (12'x10'), upstairs, also includes a queen bed. It shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom. The third bedroom/loft is in the open loft area, upstairs. A full-sized bed rests in this room, along with a sofa and desk. *Please note that this bedroom is open and does not have a private doorway. We also have 2 RV sites with full hookups, across the highway in a quiet, beautiful setting. Please inquire. We accept children 6 and older. There is a charge of $25/person/night over 2 people. Our home is about 1 mile from Hermosa, and less than 1/4 mi. from Highway 40 (we have only about 1/8 mi. of gravel). We built our place on a cliff, overlooking the southwest valley. This one-of-a-kind view includes pasture, hills, our roping arena, and the biggest, bluest sky imaginable.
