Description

Beautiful, fully restored antique cape with private beach on Millen Pond in Washington, New Hampshire. This historic town is home to many lakes and is the first town named after George Washington. The private beach is accessible from our private road on 12 wooded acres. Ideal for fishing, hiking, canoeing and country living. The house is located on the Monadnock / Sunapee Greenway and is 18 miles from Lake and Mt Sunapee Ski area and is an hour and a half drive to Killington ski area. The space The fully restored house was built in the late 1700's and is full of beautiful historic features. Three bedrooms including a first floor master bedroom, and large kitchen and living room/dinning room make for easy family living. Guest access The whole house is included in the rental and includes a private beach with 800 ft of lake frontage about 800 ft from house down a private road, on Millen Pond. Included at the lake is a fire pit, dock, floating dock, and sandy beach. Two canoes, two kayaks and peddle boat are available for your use at the beach. Other things to note There is a studio apartment available for an add on rental to the cabin rental for an additional $ 100 per night. The studio is on the second floor of the recently built garage that is 60 ft from the house. The studio will accommodate up to four additional guests.
