Whether you’re here to fish, paddle, unwind, or simply soak in the stillness of mountain life, The space The main floor features a bright, open layout with large picture windows overlooking the lake and surrounding evergreens. Enjoy the kayaks or paddle boat at the house or rent a boat just a few minutes away at the Cove. You can also bring your own boat, with access to the community boat launch just one block down. Small boats suitable for shallow water can dock at your own private dock; fish all day and tie it up until you are ready to take a relaxing evening sunset cruise. When the sun goes down, barbecue your catch of the day and then sit around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows or soak in the hot tub while gazing up at a sky full of stars. During the spring, summer and fall months you will enjoy any of the local activities: fishing, biking, boating, white water rafting, tubing, horseback riding, ziplining, hiking, golfing, mushrooming, rock climbing, swimming, or head to Leavenworth to go shopping or to float the lazy Icicle River. In the winter, enjoy the many snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails around the cabin, ice fishing, or head to Stevens Pass - just 30 minutes door-to-door - to downhill ski. * 22 miles to Downtown Leavenworth and 26.6 miles to Stevens Pass Ski Resort Guest access The space is private for you and your group only, there are no shared spaces. There is a private dock at this cabin and it is best for kayaks, canoes, and shallow draft fishing boats. * Kayaks/Paddle Boat for guest use (will be liable for damages) * Private Dock Usage-shallow so smaller boats most suitable Other things to note • Maximum Occupancy — 4 guests (including children) • Vehicle Limit — 2 cars • Pets — Allowed • Outdoor Wood Burning — Not permitted (propane firepit provided) • Quiet Hours — Must be followed • Chelan County STR Permit #000238 WINTER ACCESS & SAFETY — PLEASE READ • 4WD/AWD and tire chains are required during winter months — no exceptions. • The driveway is plowed as a walk path for foot traffic only in winter conditions. • Do not attempt to drive a vehicle down the driveway at any time in winter. Parking is located at the top of the driveway on the left (maximum of 2 vehicles) Look for the sign marked: “Alpine Lake Escape Winter Parking.” At the top of the driveway, you’ll find a large mailbox containing 4 sets of boot chains for guest use (Guests will be charged for any sets not returned.) Bringing your own boot chains or snowshoes is recommended. These policies are in place for guest safety and to prevent vehicle tow-outs in icy mountain conditions.
