The space Dear potential guests, Please read the full description below and feel free to ask me any/all questions before submitting a request :) Check-in is at 4pm Check-out is at 11am Cleaning fee is $300 No additional guests or pets are allowed without my permission. I am generally not a pet-friendly host, but certain circumstances can be arranged. Please be honest about the number of guests, as I *can* accommodate more than 8, but will have to charge more and provide instructions on the proper bedding arrangements. If there are unauthorized guests or pets without my permission, it is grounds for immediate eviction without any refund. All outdoor entrances have security cameras and are periodically monitored to ensure my house rules are being followed as such. If any cameras are altered or moved this is grounds for eviction without a refund. I truly appreciate my guests returning items to where they belong. Certain things are labeled and certain things are pretty self-explanatory. I appreciate you hand washing steak and carving knives to avoid any rusting. In addition, pots and pans are preferably hand wash only to avoid any wearing. If on the morning of your last stay you are rushing out, please leave dishes in the sink for the maids to clean :) Glasses are not permitted outside, ESPECIALLY by the pool. This is one of very few strict rules because: glass does not always get cleaned up properly, wherein somebody can step on it and get injured glass in the pool would mean that the pool needs to be completely drained which is a nuisance to not only you as a guest, but to me as the homeowner providing the pool water and refill/ cleaning services (nobody wants to spend a gorgeous summer day without a pool!) *there is a shelf devoted to outdoor cups - please ONLY use these outside! Generally, I do not wear shoes inside besides house slippers. I do understand this is a bit unavoidable at times, but if you could try to respect this as much as possible it is greatly appreciated! I like to go green as much as possible. Therefore, I appreciate my guests reusing towels (especially pool towels) to a sanitary extent. Recycling is a must, as well. The main kitchen is fully stocked. There are unlimited spices and cooking oils that are free to be used! I only ask that you are mindful of putting them back in their correct spot to ensure organization for myself and others. The pantry and cabinets have coffee, tea, and other items that are *safe* and available if needed. I can also recommend numerous markets to get groceries/supplies at as I am sure you want your own grocery items throughout your stay! My home is a ten minute drive from the town of New Paltz which offers restaurants, bars, cafes, and cute boutiques. There are main-stream grocery stores such as 
“Tops” and “Shoprite”. There are also other markets and farms close by that I can recommend for more of an organic/ farm-to-table feel. Feel free to visit my guidebook for recommendations as well! A Trailways bus stop is in the town of New Paltz, about a 12-minute drive away from the property. The Metro North train station is about 30 minutes away in Poughkeepsie. I recommend having a vehicle as the house is a 10-minute drive out of town. Also, you have an option of taking an Uber to New Paltz for a night out with cocktails, yet be advised that Uber can be limited in this area. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (which all include a shower). Guests have access to the entire property minus the garage and very few personal cabinets and closets, yet there is still plenty of personal space to use! As mentioned, I have a fully stocked kitchen on the main level as well as a kitchen in the basement/apartment downstairs, so there is PLENTY of room to cook/host :) As you can see in my photos, there is plenty of room to eat as well! The outside of the house has a beautiful wraparound porch with various seating areas, a hammock and the neighbors are a fair distance away. The home is like a private resort to say the least and I hope you consider this as your perfect getaway as that is how I feel when I am here (and I live here)! Guest access Guests have a private access to the entire home and property. The garage, cabinets in master bathroom and very few certain closets are off limits. Other things to note Please remember that it is the country side and you need to protect yourself from basic threats like mosquitos, ticks, allergies, sunburn, etc. During pool season you are solely responsible to protect yourself and all guests of all ages from drowning, slips, falls and any other injury or death. Please be safe and enjoy responsibly! *If you have an emergency, please call 911. There are also first aid kits available throughout the house if needed* I only wish for everyone to have a safe stay!
