The "Shuck" is a cabin situated on the Shenandoah River. It is riverfront private with no neighbors in the back ,right,or front. The river frontage is just to the left front of the cabin. It boasts huge yard space all around the property with many trees surrounding. Most of the furnishings in the house are new. We now have a Hot Tub . The views from every direction are spectacular. A canoe and life vests are provided. We welcome one and all to come relax at our cabin and tour the area. Cabin is fairly new. 1400 living floor space with new furnishings and appliances. 6 person Hot tub under gazebo. Beautiful views surround the property and direct yard access to the river. Private yet close to the town of Luray Va.Children up to age 12 stay free, Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $20 per pet/per day Guests have access to cabin and grounds at leisure. Owners live nearby and will respond to any issues as soon as possible. The river bottom has other cabins but none in close proximity. Our town of Luray is just minutes away and offers a wide variety of businesses and shops. We are home to the famous Luray Caverns. There's a golf course (Luray Caverns golf course) , and we are just a few miles from entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. There are many outdoor activities in the area which include swimming, fishing, canoeing, rafting, hiking, horse trail rides . A vehicle is needed to get into town. We are on a long winding gravel country road to the river, there may be some ruts (after heavy rains) Smoking NOT allowed inside the cabin but outdoors anywhere and on deck. We do ask that you do not throw butts on the ground.
