Little house on the Christmas tree
Description
PLEASE READ “Other things to note” before booking. Lone Star is a rustic tiny house on a Christmas tree farm. You’ll love taking walks in the Christmas tree fields and drinking coffee on the porch overlooking the pond. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, bird watchers, writers, and visitors who don't want to stay in a hotel. We're just 23 miles from the Texas Medical Center. Puppy dogs are welcome here! The space We call our rustic tiny house "Lone Star". It has everything you need in a very compact space with a Texas flair. The tiny house is built on an 8' x 18' trailer, and care has been taken to use non-toxic materials in its construction. The raised kitchen conceals a full-size bed, and the foot of the bed doubles as your sofa. At bedtime, just pull the handle on the front of the sofa, and pull out your bed. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, toaster oven, and microwave, along with cookware, dishes, and utensils. Holiday Acres is a bustling choose and cut Christmas tree farm during the Christmas season, but the rest of the year it's a peaceful place to relax. Guest access Hike through the 10 acres of Christmas trees, just be sure not to open any gates or climb over fences. Use of the farm as a photo session venue is not included in the tiny house rental and must be booked separately. Please contact host for more details. Other things to note Dogs are welcome at Lone Star! (No cats or other pets.) Pet fee does apply. Dogs must be on a leash outside. If you'll be leaving the dog at the house while you go out, he or she must be crated in your absence. Lone Star is limited to 3 bodies: 1 person + 2 dogs, or 2 people + 1 dog. You'll see all kinds of critters during your visit. Most are friendly, but there are some whose paths you may not want to cross if you venture out for a walk. Be watchful for snakes, skunks, coyotes, bees, wasps and all kinds of bugs. When walking around outside, watch for stumps, holes in the ground, ant beds, and poison ivy. We recommend wearing long pants and closed toe shoes if you go exploring. Tiny houses have tiny water heaters. Be prepared for speedy showers...5 minutes max! Laundry facilities are available on the property at no additional charge.
