Kayak, paddleboard, fish, or lie in the sun and re-charge your soul. Clarks Beach is a coastal tiny village, yet we have all the essentials here; grab fish and chips, play a round of golf, or eat at the local restaurants (Thai or Chinwags / bistro). Surrounded by birdsong, wildlife, and our resident kingfisher family, this peaceful north-facing cottage is filled with sunshine, warmth, and ever-changing beachfront views. Designed as a place to slow down, rest, and reconnect, the cottage is cosy, comfortable, and fully double glazed, with unlimited fibre internet and thoughtful luxury touches throughout. During the cooler months, soak in the outdoor hot tub beneath the trees and enjoy the peaceful coastal surroundings under the stars. Perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding (both supplied with the cottage), fishing, collecting scallops in season, or simply BBQ’ing beneath the trees while watching the tide roll in. The tidal beach is calm and safe for children, making it ideal for couples, families, and quiet getaways by the sea. By day, enjoy panoramic harbour views, stunning sunsets, and the changing landscape of the Manukau Harbour. By night, watch the lights of Auckland shimmer across the water from the comfort of the deck. A peaceful hidden gem — only 40 minutes from Auckland City, yet a world away. Guest access You will have the whole cottage to yourself - a private, standalone home. Access is simple, with two options: ● Park on the quiet road and take a short easy walk across flat grass, or ● Drive to the public access to the beach at Halls Access, park in the quiet carpark there, and walk past 3 cottages to our Red Rock cottage There is no direct road access to the cottage, it is beautiful, private and quiet. Other things to note Lock box for a contactless holiday if you choose. We live up on the ridge, so are here to help with anything should you need it - at a totally separate property so your privacy is always maintained. Internet - unlimited fibre (fast!)
