Hida Takayama Ukiyo-e INN Escher is a one-day, one-group limited inn in a 90-year-old house converted into a Ukiyo-e gallery. Surrounded by the 36 Views of Mount Hiei by Sesshu Toryo and Kabuki-themed picture monuments, you can get into an extraordinary mood. On the sliding gold partition in the bedroom, you can see Hiroshige's Edo 100 Famous Views, and if you look up, you can also see the ceiling paintings, so you can relax in a dignified atmosphere. The bath at the inn is a Shigaraki-yaki pottery bath. The water doesn't get cold easily, so it's perfect for soothing your body after sightseeing. There is a 130-inch home theater in the building, where you can also have a virtual experience of the Takayama Festival with a 5.1CH sound system and a high-definition projector. Other things to note Check-in time is from 15:00 to 20:00. We are unable to accept check-ins after 8 pm. * Please let me know your check-in time at least 3 days in advance.
