Part of the castle, built in the 17th century and privatized, has just been converted into a "loft", where the decoration pleasantly combines tradition and modernism. Under the original exposed framework, in solid oak, protected by thick stone walls, a living room of about 80 m2, with an astonishing volume: spacious entrance, "American" kitchen, large sofa, fireplace, Le Corbusier chaise longue, "designer" dining table, old kilim carpets on the original parquet, view of the castle park, everything is planned for relaxation and serenity. For you only... The cottage is completed by a large suite and a spacious bedroom, open to nature and perfectly isolated. Each with its own bathroom and toilet. In the suite, an office space and sofa bed, which can be transformed into a third bedroom. All amenities and appliances – bedding, dressing rooms, heating, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. – are new. Outside, two private terraces, one of which is equipped with a summer dining room, with its plancha. And secure parking for 3 cars. There are many possible activities: long and numerous walks in the forest, jogging or mountain biking for sports enthusiasts, visits to the surrounding tourist sites, rich local gastronomy and picking porcini mushrooms in season, water sports or simple picnic on the beautiful Lake Neuvic or in the gorges of the Dordogne, tennis, horseback riding and golf for amateurs... The private outdoor areas of the castle - living room, dining room, panoramic terrace – are just waiting for our guests.
