The Iron Willow is a cozy, 4-bedroom cabin-like home just 3-4 blocks from the bike trails and Main Street! Main floor has an open floor plan - kitchen, LR, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Basement has a family room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry closet. Enjoy a fully-stocked kitchen, five TVs, wifi, smart home features, a front yard deck with gas grill, fire pit, picnic table, secure storage shed, off-street parking and self-check-in. We want the Iron Willow to feel like your "home away from home"! The Iron Willow is an old lake cabin that we moved to this city lot about 20 years ago! There are 2 front entrances: the main entry porch and the deck entry which opens to the kitchen. There are 5 beds (4 bedrooms) and a pull-out couch - it can sleep 10, but we do recommend a max of 6-8 adults. We want to note that the bedrooms are small - basically just for sleeping! :-) Main floor bedrooms and bathroom do have lockable pocket doors. There is plenty of off-street parking for your vehicles and trailers and a lockable storage shed for bikes. Also key-less entry locks, "Alexa", and smart lights for your fun and convenience! When you're not out enjoying the Cuyuna Lakes Area, you can gather around the kitchen island, watch TV in almost any room, listen to music on the Echo Dot, access WIFI, use the desktop computer, play games, read a book, grill out or have a campfire. And whatever your passion, you'll find that Crosby offers it or is near it - golfing, mini-golfing, biking, skating, boating, fishing, swimming, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV-ing, antiquing, bar-hopping and a wonderful assortment of breweries and restaurants! The entire home will be yours during your stay. There are 2 non-accessible closets (our "storage/supply" closets), one in the bathroom and one in the basement. Most of the shed is empty for your use and a keyed padlock is provided. Above all, we value your privacy and do not have security cameras indoors or facing outdoor gathering areas. We provide 2 Echo Dots ("audio devices") for your enjoyment. They "listen" to you when you say, "Alexa". You are free to unplug them during your stay. We will text you once or twice to make sure you've arrived and all is going OK. We live just a few miles from the property; if you need anything at all, day or night, we are just a phone call or text away! Just 4 blocks from main street, we are close to everything you could possibly need - restaurants, 24-hour convenience store, gas, grocery, dollar store, hardware store, liquor store, laundromat, bars, breweries, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (hospital), library, parks, Serpent Lake, boat landing, mine pits, bait shop, playground, skate park, bike trails, antique stores, Cycle Path & Paddle Bicycle Repair, Red Raven Bike Rentals, bowling alley and more! Everything is literally within walking distance and this has always been a very safe neighborhood! We're no more than 25-35 minutes from BIR, Safari North Wildlife Park, golf courses, miniature golf, ski runs, water parks, major retail stores and the Lakes 12 movie theater. Driveway fits at least 2-4 cars (off-street parking). No RV's without prior approval and fee, but trailers are OK! Local Taxi Service is available. If you need a sober ride, you can always give us a call! ~ We can assure you that the Iron Willow is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests. Whenever possible, we have a 2-3 day hiatus between guest bookings and we do not do same-day check-ins and check-outs. This gives us plenty of time to clean and minimizes the potential for exposure to any viruses. ~ Please note that there is no dining table, we have a kitchen island with stools and there are also TV trays available. ~ We offer WiFi and Amazon Prime Video, no cable but you can use your own streaming services. ~ The home has 2 window A/C units to keep the main level comfortable, plenty of fans and the basement is always cooler in the summer. ~ There is a coin-op washer and dryer available, very basic older units that take 8 quarters each. We provide coins for 1 load of wash and 1 drying cycle if you are staying 3+ days. ~ We love pets but we do not allow them at this time so as to accommodate other guests who may have allergies etc. ~ Please be sure to read the House Rules, Cancellation Policy, etc. By booking a stay, you are agreeing to these rules.
