All are welcome at A Home On The Harbor. The space A Home On The Harbor is thoughtfully designed with comfort and simplicity in mind. Featuring all new beds, soft luxury linens, black out blinds in the bedrooms, and a complete cook's kitchen. The kitchen is well-stocked with quality stainless cookware, electric griddle, drip coffee maker and grinder, Keurig, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, blender, crockpot, sharp knives and much more. Grill out on the deck with the Weber gas grill as you watch for seals, enjoy s'mores around the campfire outside, or snuggle up with a good book around the wood-burning stove inside. Our bathrooms have just been beautifully refreshed. The upstairs bath now features new double sinks and quartz countertops with beautiful new flooring for both baths. In keeping with the intentional simplicity of the home we do not have any televisions, but we do have WiFi and cell phone reception. There are also lots of games, books and puzzles for your use. Upstairs: queen bedroom, bath, kitchen, living and dining. Downstairs: queen bedroom, double bunk bed room, bath, family room, laundry. Guest access A Home On The Harbor has easy access to the privately owned tidal beach. The simple path and only 9 steps down is just hard to beat and it is so easy for all ages to use. Our beach is a great place to launch your kayak or paddle board from or to just stroll along during sunset. Searching for sea treasures, sand castles and digging for clams are great summer fun! You can watch the resident bald eagles and listen to the waves all from the comfort of the large deck. There is also a very nice lawn for games and picnics under the apple tree. Apples, blackberries, herbs and rhubarb are available for your seasonal use. Our home is in a very quiet and peaceful setting. We love our perfect location to dining and shopping, too. You can leave the car parked and walk to ice cream and shopping! You can also grab energetic young ones and take an easy walk to the fantastic playground at Freeland Park. We really have the best of both worlds with nature at the beach and enjoyment at the shops all within walking distance. We also enjoy our central location to island attractions like Langley, Coupeville, Greenbank Farm, Wineries, and other great beaches and parks like Double Bluff Park and South Whidbey State Park. Other things to note Well-behaved pets are welcome on approval, $75 fee per pet. Limit 2. We host up to 4 adults and 4 children at a time.
