Enjoy your stay in Minneapolis in a custom-designed home in a safe and charming cul-de-sac neighborhood on the bank of the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis in the Historic Milling District and NE Arts & Entertainment District. This home may not be suitable for infants because of an open stairwell. (Allergy alert: a dog lives here, but not during your stay. Snow removal/lawn mowing is provided. This is our primary home that we make available while we are traveling. Dogs not allowed. The space Stay in our newly built and convenient modern single-family home on the scenic Mississippi River across the water from downtown Minneapolis. The home is a convenient 2.2 miles by car to US Bank Stadium, or a 2 mile walk. This home is fully furnished, and the kitchen is supplied with all dishes and cooking gear. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2000 square feet of living space. The bedrooms each contain a queen-sized bed. Two bedrooms are on the upper level, one on the lower level. There is a full bath on the upper level, and 3/4 bath on the lower level. Enjoy a deck off of the kitchen for your morning coffee, or the newly landscaped front patio in the warm weather season. Conditions permitting, enjoy the fire pit out back as well. A 32-inch smart TV with broadcast channels, Netflix and Amazon Prime (but no cable). Please bring your log-in for your Netflix and Amazon accounts. Parking in the driveway or at the curb on our cul de sac. Washer/dryer, and ironing board are included in the basement. There is also a ping-pong table in the basement! You will sleep well in this quiet city neighborhood as there is no through traffic, a rarity in the urban area. You can amble around the corner for a 1-block walk to Boom Island Park alongside the Mississippi River with a view to downtown Minneapolis just across the water. Hop on the riverside trail system with a rental bike or scooter, or use the trails for walking or running. In the summer, hop on a pedal-pub for a tour of NE Minneapolis. Also, in the summer check out the Minneapolis Water Taxi boarding out of Boom Island Park for a one hour river tour. NE Minneapolis has many charming ethnic restaurants, breweries, gift shops, and art galleries as well as grocery and household amenities. (See the Guidebook). Although it is possible to walk or bike to downtown you will find it simple to hop on the bus or take an Uber or electric scooter to get there as well. From the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport you can take the light rail to downtown Minneapolis, and then a bus or Uber to arrive in this neighborhood. Guest access You have access to the entire house: full first floor and lower level living spaces. You will find the laundry facilities and ping-pong table in the lower level, as well. You may also enjoy the front patio and the back deck, seating areas and fire pit on back patio. Two cars may park in the driveway or at the curb.
