Located on a private, 4.8-acre lot, Sunset Ridge is a paradise for any lover of the outdoors. Forget about sitting in traffic or putting up with noisy neighbors - this secluded, 1071-square foot cabin is the ideal place to spend time with family and friends, fish, hike, or hunt in the Oklahoma wilderness near Broken Bow Lake. The river is about 1/3 of a mile from Sunset Ridge, all within Legacy Trails. The space We built this cabin after staying at Legacy Trails on a wonderful family trip in 2015. We were looking for a dog-friendly getaway within driving distance of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and Legacy Trails was everything we had hoped for. Sunset Ridge is the newest cabin at Legacy Trails, and it opened for guests in 2018. We hope you enjoy Sunset Ridge as much as we do. We have a self-check-in procedure where the cabin will be open and ready upon your arrival. The cozy cabin can accommodate six guests of all ages, with two bedrooms featuring queen-size beds, beautiful wood paneling, nature-inspired artwork, and plenty of storage space. After an exhilarating day outdoors, relax by the fireplace in the spacious living room or watch the game on one of the 150+ DirecTV channels. Cooking is a breeze at Sunset Ridge, with place settings for 6 and all the appliances and equipment you need to serve a group. And no night in the country is complete without gathering around the fire pit, roasting s’mores, and watching the stars. There’s something for everyone at Sunset Ridge, your perfect cabin in the woods. Your cabin includes: Master bedroom with one queen-size bed and rustic decor Second bedroom with one queen-size bed One sleeper sofa, comfortable for kids or adults There are extra pillows in the closet and sheets and blankets in the drawer under the bed in the room to the left. One bathroom with a shower/tub combination, soap, shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer Full kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher Cooking equipment including pots, pans, a slow cooker, a paella pan, electric griddle, cutting boards, baking sheets, and a large stockpot, plus salt, pepper, and oil Dishes, glasses, and cutlery for 6, including pasta bowls, coffee mugs, and wine glasses Living room with vaulted ceilings, sofas, and a 42-inch TV Gas-burning fireplace - perfect for a chilly winter evening Breakfast bar with 4 barstools Outdoor deck with a gas grill and 6-seat dining table. Did someone say “burgers?” Backyard fire pit with 4 chairs - just remember to bring your own marshmallows! We provide 20-25 pieces of firewood. If needed, more can be purchased from our manager or at the nearby Mountain Country Store. Complimentary WiFi and DirecTV will keep everybody entertained on rainy days or lazy afternoons Washer and dryer for the inevitable mud-covered clothes after a day of outdoor exploration Laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner Central air conditioning and heat Kayaks for your use on the river Pet-friendly $75.00 (up to 35 pounds) We now have a 220V outdoor plug-in EV-charger for an electric vehicle at the cabin. Charges per night will be $25.00. Payment can be made in cash to our Property Manager Sunset Ridge is perfect for family fun or a romantic couples’ getaway, with every amenity and comfort of home in the beautiful Broken Bow Lake area. Guest access Sunset Ridge is one of five privately-owned cabins on a 35-acre development, which features a gated entrance and exclusive access to the Legacy Trails Landing on Mountain Fork River, a favorite of fly fishermen. Forget about loud neighbors here - you’ll love the peace and quiet that comes with this secluded home. Guests can enjoy Sunset Ridge’s 4.8-acre lot, featuring an expansive backyard area and ample parking space. Just a mile up the road, fishing, swimming, and kayaking spots are found at Boondockers Landing, which extends special discounts to Sunset Ridge guests. Other things to note Pet Policy: Pets up to 35 pounds are allowed to join you at Sunset Ridge for a $75 per stay fee. The pet fee should be paid to the owner directly prior to your stay. However, we do expect that you will not allow pets on the sofas or beds in order to prevent damage and extra cleaning. If you book our cabin and arrive (without prior approval) with animals larger than allowed, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and no refund will be given. Extra Cleaning Policy: If extra cleaning is required as a result of you bringing pets or for any other reason, we reserve the right to charge you a one-time $50 additional cleaning fee. Damage Policy: If we find that our cabin has been damaged as a result of your stay, we reserve the right to charge you up to the full value of replacing/repairing the damaged items with a minimum damage fee of $100.
