Come visit the farm! We live on our 1937 family farm on 6.5 acres with our chickens and horses, Cosmo and Cricket. Guest love our country setting, great views and a fun place to visit even though we are in town. The many song birds make the sounds enjoyable as you sit on the front porch. Gentle breezes, trees, lots of fresh air and sunshine, a pond for catch and release fishing, and the Northeast Texas Trail for biking and hiking is just outside of our gate. The space Cottage can sleep up to four guest, one king size bed, separate trundle with two twin beds located in the multi- seasonal sunroom separated by french doors. a pack and play is available. Living area has a settee and rocker, Dish tv and dedicated wifi. Kitchenette comes with a 12 cup or 4 cup coffeemaker, coffee and tea, microwave, and mini fridge. Fire pit with 4 chairs and charcoal grill are located at the cottage, guest need to bring charcoal with them. The cottage is the only guest accommodations on the property and is 80 feet from our family home. Guest access Rails to Trails bicycle, jogging, walking and equestrian track located just outside our front gate. Antiques, shopping, and restaurants located in town and plenty more are located in Paris, Tx, only 17 miles west and Clarksville, Tx, only 13 miles east. Access to swimming, boating, fishing and golf only 20 minutes away. Other things to note Cleaning and disinfecting protocols have always been our highest priority and our cleaning staff takes extra measures. A thorough checklist helps to ensure our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, microwave, - everything!) before you check in.
