One side is a chill business office and the other is your own generously appointed 1-bedroom apartment, ensuring your stay is both peaceful and private. Upstairs, the expansive bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed and a Smart TV for your entertainment. The first-floor living room has a sofa that transforms into a queen bed, featuring a memory foam mattress. Both sleeping areas are equipped with room darkening shades and a white noise machine. The bathroom is next to the bedroom, abounding in vintage allure with its antique clawfoot bathtub (that doubles as a shower). We've got your comfort covered with linens, towels, hair dryer, and an iron/ironing board. Relax in the living room, offering ample seating and another Smart TV (bring your own streaming account logins). An Amazon Echo stands ready as your Bluetooth speaker. The well-equipped kitchen invites culinary adventures, ensuring you can cook, serve, and savor meals together in the adjacent dining room. Eco-conscious guests will appreciate that the home is outfitted with geothermal heat, a nod to our commitment to more sustainable living. Traveling with little ones? We've got you covered with a pack-n-play, high chair, baby gate, and an assortment of children's toys. Step outside to our expansive fenced backyard, a haven for outdoor games and relaxation –– and perfect for furry friends! We can't wait to host you at our historic gem in the heart of East Nashville! Our historic home has been divided into two parts (duplex-style). Guests have complete and private access to the entire 1-bedroom guest apartment, located on the left side of the home. The right side is a separate business office that operates during business hours. Guests have full use of the outdoor space, though you may see the business employees coming and going through the front or backyards. We provide starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee/creamer/sugar, hand/dish soap, and toiletries. We give our guests privacy and space, with keypad entry for ease of check-in. But we are always available by phone (text or call) for any questions, needs, or recommendations! The Five Points Jewel's location is a huge part of what makes your stay with us so amazing! We’re right in the heart of Five Points (the fun, vibrant epicenter of East Nashville) — literally 10 doors down from bars, restaurants, and shops! Since we’re located in the high-demand Five Points area of East Nashville, street parking in close proximity to the house cannot be guaranteed. Uber: uberalece RECOMMENDATION: If you're planning to check out a few restaurants, spend evenings on or around Broadway and East Nashville, enjoy some live music, and hit a few tourist spots downtown, you don't need to rent a car. Stick with rideshares, as the hard-to-find and expensive downtown parking will likely cost you more. Uber/Lyft rides from the house to downtown average only $6-8. However, if you want to explore more of Nashville beyond downtown (and, trust us, there is plenty more to experience!), then rent a car as things are spread out. Just about everything is in about a 15-minute driving radius, which is pretty amazing! There is also a metro bus stop just a couple blocks away (a 3-minute walk). Additional guests (up to 4 total) are charged at $20 per person per night. Accurate headcount must be confirmed with additional fees paid no later than 24 hours before arrival. Our max occupancy is firm & we cannot accommodate groups larger than 4. We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog. Dogs may roam off-leash in the fully fenced yard (we just ask that you stay on top of their messes). Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets. (Details in House Rules.) Guests are required to sign a digital rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or immediately upon receipt if your arrival is within 5 days) or your reservation is subject to cancellation in accordance with the agreed-upon cancellation policy. Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM or later, & check-out is 11:00 AM. In some cases it may be possible to arrange in advance for earlier check-in or later check-out for an additional fee. Guests have private access to the entire 1-bedroom apartment (left side of home). The right side houses a small IT business office during weekday office hours. The business office has exterior security cameras that actively record in the front, side, & back of the house. There are no cameras inside the home. Our 100-year old beauty queen contains remnants of former alarm system devices that have long since gone unused. As removing them would cause further damage to our restored beauty, they’ve been left in place. There are no active alarm, security, or camera devices within the home. There is an Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker in the living room. Free street parking is available on our street & on neighboring side streets.
