The home is surrounded by hundreds of state and privately preserved acreage with a spring fed swimming pond on a dead-end county road. The perfect setting for a restful escape. Be inspired by the kitchen, go for a swim, ski, sit by the indoor fireplace or outdoor pit, head to a nearby restaurant, pub or music venue. It's all here and under a 3 hour drive from NYC. The space The house is located on a dead end, right off Route 28, 5 minutes to Belleayre Mountain. There are no neighbors, there is no swimming pool (description didn't give me another option), but a spring fed, man built swimming pond, 12 feet deep and a gentle slope to ease yourself in. Five bedrooms: 3 with queen size beds, two with singles, one daybed and a pull out couch. Based on your party's dynamic the house sleeps 5 to 10 guests. Guest access Exit 19 (Kingston off 87), Route 28 five miles past Belleayre Mountain. Drive by Fleischmanns, the dirt road will be to your right. Other things to note The house is composed of one older cabin and a newer construction attached to it. One daybed and a queen size sleeper sofa are provided for flexible sleeping arrangements. There are 5 beds, 3 of which are queen size. Based on the dynamic of your party the house can host between 5 and 10 people (taking into account the pullout couch and daybed) Catskills Mountains, surrounded by hiking trails right off the house. Trees and beautiful skies reflect in the pond, inspiring a close relationship with nature.
