Home in Seattle
Description
Enjoy views of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains from our spacious 4-bedroom home. With two kitchens and two large common areas. The magical shaded and secluded backyard has a dining table and a BBQ--the perfect spot to spend a warm summer afternoon. Perfectly situated on South Beacon Hill, adjacent to the Chief Sealth multi-use trail and a short (11 minute) walk to Light Rail where you're only a 20 minute ride to downtown/stadiums and a 15 minute ride to the airport. The space Built in 1962, the home is classic PNW midcentury modern. We've made a few updates, but have left much of the house in it's original state. There are two full kitchens and two large living spaces. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. The yard is magical in all seasons. The backyard borders a school and a vacant lot, so it truly feels like a secluded forest retreat. Note: the bedroom with a toddler bed will be upgraded to a twin by May 1. This is our home and we are just renting it out during some extended summer travels. This is not a good spot for parties or loud groups. The home has the charm and character of a 1962 build — if you appreciate midcentury architecture, you'll love it Registration Details STR-OPLI-20-001127
