Description
Located a mile and a half outside the village of Dorset, this creekside craftsman home is near a picturesque New England town which features general stores, excellent restaurants, bars, an art gallery, library, and hiking trails. Nearby you can find many places to explore. Whether it be shopping the outlets of Manchester Center, visiting Emerald Lake or the oldest commercial marble quarry in the US. 10 minute drive to the Vermont Summer Festival in East Dorset. The space The house is a Sears Roebuck style Craftsman Bungalow. It was built in the 1920's, so it definitely has that older feel. The bathrooms are recently remodeled. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a dedicated office space. The living room and dining room area have large windows to allow for plenty of light, and the stone front porch is a nice place to sit and enjoy the sounds of Gilbert Brook and West Road. The kitchen is spacious and there is a new laundry room with a sink and cabinets, where you can find extra supplies if needed. The house is next door to where we live, so we are often close by, and available via phone or text if not working on the grounds.
