A very large room with a comfortable queen size bed with dresser, mirror, and side table with lamp, Smart TV offering Netflix, electric and USB outlets. Extra folding tables and computer desk provide flexibility for dining or working with a laptop, etc. The room has heat and a room air-conditioner as needed. There is space with it’s own door and window for 2 additional guests (children or adults). A full-sized bed can be set up in this case. Room has a mini-fridge and microwave. If you are two guests but need the extra bed set up, please let us know upon booking as there is a $25 bed setup fee. (This fee is waived for 3-4 guests or 2 guests who need just the queen bed). If you don't let us know until you check in, you will be charged the $25 set up fee if the extra bed needs to be set up. From 5-8pm daily there is also limited dining room seating on the 1st floor on a first come, first served basis. We ask while you are in the house to kindly remove your outside shoes and place on the 1st floor shoe racks to prevent our new stair carpet from getting dirty or water-damaged. We do our best to keep the floors extremely clean daily, but even one walk-around in shoes tracks in an unexpected amount of dirt! Shops and public transportation shuts down relatively quickly around here and even earlier on weekends, but there are a few stores that remain open and if you miss the last bus, there are cheap cabs from Getty Square to our place. Please remember, the highlight of your experience won't necessarily be exploring this neighborhood, but rather the beautiful and safe mini palace we offer you at an affordable price which is relatively close to Midtown Manhattan! :-) We are near local buses that are 5-20 minutes away from major transportation bus or train routes. Uber and Livery car service is also available and parking is available to those with their own or rental cars. Expedited travel to mid-town Manhattan is about 30-35 minutes by public transportation transferring to Metro North. Using buses and subways only may add an additional 20-25 minutes on to that, but will also cost less. It's also a pretty quick 20-30 minutes by car, Uber or car service. We've had over 500 guests now from all 6 continents and the overwhelming majority have given us 5 stars!
