The Alpine A Frame - Cozy Cabin with Barrel Sauna

Welcome to The Alpine Aframe, a charming cabin nestled at over 10,000 feet in the Rockies. For eight months, this cabin was our passion project. We thoughtfully remodeled the space to create a serene and elevated atmosphere. The cabin is a 5 min walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 min drive to downtown Idaho Springs. This mountain retreat has everything you need for a relaxing, tranquil, and comfortable stay. PLEASE READ THE OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE SECTION BEFORE BOOKING. The space Our Aframe is tiny but mighty! It's 670 sq ft. but feels spacious due to the high ceilings and large windows throughout the front. There are two queen bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a dining area for four. The living room has many options for getting cozy and a stunning view to admire while relaxing. We also have board games and a smart TV. Guest access The entire property. Other things to note We recommend purchasing travel insurance in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances or events not covered in the cancellation policy. A four wheel drive vehicle is required from October 1st-May 31st, we will not provide a refund if the roads are open but your vehicle cannot make it. Be advised this is a high elevation cabin and snow storms can occur. During these months only 1 vehicle is permitted since you will need to park at the base of the driveway and walk up the short driveway to the cabin. No additional parking spaces are available. You must be able bodied as the drive way and stairs are steep and can be slick when it snows. You’ll have to clear a path on the deck when it snows during your stay. Fire place usage is not allowed due to our insurance policy. Internet is satellite internet, it may not work during your stay due to weather conditions.
