Reed's on the River Cabin 7 on the Sturgeon River

Completely renovated log cabin located on the beautiful Sturgeon River. Cabin originally built in the 1940's and remodeled in 2021. It has the charm of the old cabin but with updated inside, plumbing, electric, furnishings and amenities. Reed's on the River is located on 350 ft. of the Sturgeon River with 6 other cabins on the property to rent. All cabins have unobstructed views of the river where you can fish or end your tubing/kayaking adventure at your front door. The space We are pet friendly, please see pet policy and fee's below. Please note that although we allow 6, this is a cozy cabin. It is a perfect spot to visit May through October as the weather is wonderful. Please note we allow 6 guest however the futon is small in the living room. The Sturgeon River is very well known for it's fishing, especially in the Spring and the Fall. It is also the fastest flowing river in the lower peninsula of Michigan making it ideal for tubing and adventurous kayaking. The leaves changing in October is a -must see. We have worked hard to provide comfort, fun, beautiful grounds and service so that you can make life long memories. Guest access Please note that due to extremely limited parking, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate trailers or more than 2 cars per cabin. Please ask us for suggestions for marinas in area that have overnight trailer parking available for a small fee. Other things to note We do allow up to 2 dogs per cabin. The charge is $25 per night per dog and will be collected upon check in. We ask that you clean up after your dog and do not allow them on furniture. The cabins do not have AC but they have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and main living room. Thank you!
