We have a cottage that is 75 feet from the waters edge with outstanding views. Sit back and soak in the views. There are two waterfront cottages. Each cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and living room, dining room table and chairs. The space The Beach cottage is located 3 miles (10 minutes) south of Blue Hill. The cottages are on 3.5 acres of land and right on the waters edge. We can accomodate up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms in total. Each cottage has two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and other bedroom with a set of twin beds and a separate bathroom. Each cottage is self contained, including living room, kitchen and bathroom, gas stove, fridge, wifi internet, a deck and outdoor seating and outdoor table, with 2 BBQ's, one gas and other wood fire on waters edge (Lobster cook outs)....Each cottage has its own shower unit (one is standalone shower unit, & one is tub/shower). The cottages walls are not insulated, making them typical Down East rustic summer cabins. We have a ceiling fans and heaters as well. The views are amazing! The configuration of the property is set up so you have access to both cottages for the price of one. The cottages are rustic in style, made from pine/cedar construction, which makes for the romance of the property. The cottages were built using of pine, with cedar shingles, very much inline with LL-Bean style of cottage for Downeast Maine. The cottages are located on our 3.5 acre property. The cottages are at the end of our driveway, which is about 150 yds from the main entrance. They are both waterfront and overlook the sea. The entire property is set it up where we have 2 standalone cottages we rent out, an well as standalone house by the entrance to the property we also rent out (sleep 6). This place is also listed on the AirBNB site as The Green House. The cottages have a stand alone washing machine on site in 2020, but no drier unit. We have a clothes line outside. There is also a laundromat in Blue Hill township, about 10 minutes away. The two cottages are your all "downeast" classic cedar construction and are not insulated, so we close the property for the season on Oct 15'sh, which is peak fall coverage in the area. For renters from Sept 15-Oct 15, both cottages have heaters in each bedroom, each bed has an electric under blanket. One of the cottages has a gas fire place. The guests at the other main house (Green House) do not have beach or waterfront access so as to provide each other the respected privacy. We are 45 minutes drive to Arcadia National Park HQ. and 55 minutes to Bar Harbor, 60 minutes to Bangor. 2.5 hours to Portland, 3 hours to St John Canada. Guest access The beach cottages both have direct access to the waterfront and you can literally watch the lobster boats pull up 100-200 yards out and lift the days catch. Great access for kayaks and canoes. Other things to note Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. We have wifi, but there is no TV (it's a holiday)
