Nestled in the Wimberley hills, you will experience a peaceful setting at our house with a full-size kitchen, fire pit, propane grill and also a charcoal/wood grill for outdoor cooking, easy access to the river, relax on the new covered deck watching the sunset & wildlife or visit local wineries, The Square, lavender gardens, etc. We provide our guests all of s'more fixings for making in the evening at the campfire! You will have entire 2nd & 3rd floor to yourself...no sharing. The space The space is very comfortable to relax in and enjoy your time in the Hills. The large deck allows watching the deer that come several times a day, watching the sunset, grilling, sitting around the chiminea on a chilly evening, or reading a book. There is a full-size kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals. Pots and pans area provided, as well as dishes, silverware and glassware. Paper products available too! Great time for friends to visit and enjoy their time together in this quiet neighborhood. We have three bedrooms available each with a queen size bed. There is a full bath (with bath tub/shower) on the main floor and full bath (with shower) on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor bathroom has just been remodeled with a new larger shower!! The nightly rate is based on 4 people and is $20 per additional person per night. We keep the rate low so 4 people can enjoy our home. We can sleep 6 people in 3 beds and we do have an air mattress if there is an additional person or two. NOTE: If there are more people than what is registered, there will be a $20 per person charge per night and host must be notified. There is no charge for children 2 and under. We also allow small - medium size dogs (up to 2) with a $50 pet fee per dog. The dogs must be kept on a leash once outside the house (not on deck). They must NOT get on furniture, must be kept in crate when unattended and must be on flea treatment and groomed. Additional charges may be incurred if pet chews rugs, furniture, etc. , sheds excessively, and/or has fleas. This causes us to have housekeepers do more than our already strenuous COVID cleaning. (THANK YOU) The towels provided are for bath/shower only and not river or pets. Please bring your own towels for that! If towels are determined to be used for the river or pets, there will be additional laundry fees imposed. Towels are for guests only. We have a Pak N Play available for your use, if needed. We cannot list the website on airbnb page, but please contact if you are interested in renting any baby equipment and we will provide you the link to order it and it will be delivered to the house! High speed, reliable internet/wi-fi is available for your use. We have a NEMA 14-50 outlet that those with electric cars can utilize. We do not have cable or any connectors. Due to increased electrical bills, we do charge $10 per day to use the outlet. We do have two friendly dogs and a cat that live on the property with us. They are usually here to greet you and say hello. The Old Glory Ranch is only a mile down the road. The town square of Wimberley which is full of great shops, restaurants and grocery stores is only a 3.2 mile drive away along the beautiful Blanco River. Market days, which is the largest outdoor market in Texas Hill Country, is held the first Saturday of the month (March - December) and less than 10 minutes away. Don't forget Blue Hole, Jacob's Well, Hamilton Pool and the many wineries in the area. Try the Wimberley Zip Line to get the best views of the area! Our property has access to two Private River Parks both just a short drive from the house. Across River Road you will find one of the few "deep water" swimming holes in the area where you can try out the rope swing. The second park has a picnic tables and small rapids....great for the family. *The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that the guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. We must be notified if there are any day guests or extra night guests because there I’ll be a $20 charge per person. This is due to burden on septic system and additional electricity, water and wear and tear. We do not supply towels for any day guests. River towels are not provided at all. Smoking only allowed at the firepit. No smoking in or near the house. *This house has a septic system. PLEASE BE GENTLE. Do not flush any feminine products or non-degradable items down the toilet and dispose of kitchen grease in the trash when cool. ****DURING THIS COVID 19, WE ARE TAKING EXTRA CARE TO CLEAN AND DISINFECT THE HOUSE BETWEEN GUESTS. IF YOU WANT CONTACTLESS ENTRY, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND THAT CAN BE ARRANGED. Guest access Our house is a 2 1/2 story house and guests have a private entrance and full access to 2nd floor and 3rd floor. We live on the first floor and guests do not have access to that floor. There is parking in the carport, driveway and side of the house. We also have a NEMA 14-50 outlet that allows for EV charger to be plugged into! We do not have connectors or cable.
