Adorable little Corner Cottage located in a quiet tree area. It is close to downtown Laramie & only 8 blocks from the University of Wyoming via 9th street. There are 3 bedrooms. The first is the largest and has a king size bed. It is located just past the living room, and is closest to the bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed. It is located in more of a common area off the living room & kitchen. The space can be closed off by pulling the privacy curtains. The third bedroom was designed with kids in mind. Because we have four children of our own, we know how important it is to have a little home away from home. Hopefully the space we have designed will make your little ones feel right at home. This bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double bed on the bottom. There is also a double mattress under the bunk that can be slid out like a trundle. Although 5 people can sleep in this room, it would be most comfortable for 5 little ones. The room is not very large, so adults may feel cramped. The kitchen has a small apartment sized fridge, a microwave, a coffee pot, & a Keurig. There is also a two burner hot plate and a BBQ grill outside to prepare a meal if you would like. Right off the kitchen is a little breakfast nook if you would like to sit down to eat. The space is listed available for 10 people because with the extra cot/twin mattress, 10 people can sleep comfortably. Just remember that the kids room may feel cramped for 5 adults. Also, when planning a large group, please keep in mind that there is only one bathroom. During the summer months, there is a window air conditioning unit installed. You will have total access to the main level of the home. There is a second exit in the house. Simply open the back door located in the kitchen, and exit thru the garage. The front door key also works to unlock the door of the garage from the outside. The basement is currently used for storage and locked. Guests are welcome to use the BBQ and the yard as well. There is a lock box at the front door for easy check in. You can arrive anytime after 4pm. If there is anything you need, we live near Washington Park, so we can be there in 5 minutes if you need something! During the summer, the park has a free slash pad that the kids are sure to enjoy! On Thursdays during the summer, the park also hosts a local farmers market that is open from 4-7 PM. APPLE TV REMOTE: It is located at the end of the couch, on the west side of the living room. It is a small flat remote connected to a charger. To work the cable, simply press the button that looks like a TV. This will turn on the TV & the Apple TV box. To access the cable TV, click on the Spectum App. To navigate thru channels, use your finger to swipe above the buttons on the remote. AC : The thermostat on the wall runs ONLY the furnace. A window air conditioning unit is installed in the living room. During the summer the furnace is turned off. AIR FILTERING UNIT: This is located in the living room under the air conditioner. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: There are 2 easy to use point-&-shoot units in the house. One is located under the kitchen sink, the other is in the open hall closet located outside the kid’s room. SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS: There is one located in the hallway outside the master bedroom & one in the hallway outside the kid’s room. FIRST AID KIT: There is a first aid kit located in the bathroom sink cabinet. BACKUP BASKET: It is also located in the bathroom sink cabinet. This is a special basket that we have created in case you forgot something you needed at home. (Perhaps a contact lens case, toothpaste, toothbrush, girly stuff, etc) Please feel free to take what you need. Please do NOT return any used items! They are yours to keep. BBQ : The BBQ is located at the front west side of the house. Please remove the BBQ utensils that are stored inside before attempting to light the BBQ. For additional safety, the valve on the propane tank is closed. Simply turn it counter clockwise to open. Turn the closest dial to start, & press the ignition button once or twice. It lights very easily. PARK/SPLASH PAD BAG: Undine Park is only 2 blocks west. In the summer months, the splash pad is open. We have put together a special bag in case you would like to take the kids to cool off in the water. It contains some towels & sunscreen. Also, Laramie has an AWESOME Rec Center if you would like to go swimming. The outside pool & slide are open during the summer. Inside, there is an indoor slide, water features, play equipment & kid’s slide, lazy river, & lap pool. There is also a hot tub, sauna, & steam room for those that are 16 & older. PACK-N-PLAY: This is located in the master bedroom closet. There is also a bassinet attachment for infants. FRONT ENTRY CLOSET: This contains an iron & ironing board, cooler, & board games.
