The White Oak Villa is a grand Colonial Revival Victorian home in a private neighborhood just off the Portland Peninsula. Enjoy a house filled with exquisite woodwork, antique furniture, countless windows, and enough space for entire families to get lost in. The space The White Oak Villa is a majestic old house built in 1900 full of beautiful original woodwork and open inviting spaces, with a grand staircase to greet guests inside the front entrance and a sunny enclosed porch that wraps around most of the house. There are multiple living areas for relaxing or socializing, multiple dining areas, and a well-equipped kitchen in case you want to cook during your stay. The Master Suite is an extremely roomy space with it's own private bathroom that includes a deep tub and shower. A rounded turret in one corner of the bedroom gives guests a view all the way to the top of Congress Street in Portland with its four oversize curved windows. Enjoy a queen-size bed with the highest quality latex foam mattress and organic bedding. A walk-in closet offers more space for your clothes than you would possibly need for even the longest stay in Portland. Guest access All of the bedrooms are on the second floor of the house, and can be locked for privacy and security. Guests have access to the entire first floor public spaces, which include the kitchen, dining areas, the enclosed porch, and parlors. During your stay The owner lives at the Villa when he isn't traveling the world and should be available for anything you may need, or to just hang out and share travel stories or Portland area recommendations.
