Some visitors appreciate the sound of passing trains, but if you have trouble sleeping with noise, you might consider bringing earplugs or a white noise machine. Please note that there is no private lake access from the property. However, a public boat launch and beach are conveniently located just one mile away at Lake Port. Dogs of all sizes are welcome at Lake Port for an additional fee of $50. Our only requirement is that they remain outdoors and do not enter the house. We provide a comfortable outdoor dog kennel with indoor access to the garage for their enjoyment.
