This peaceful mountain retreat is the perfect place to relax, rest and reset. Stay in and relax or take a short drive to Helen, the wineries, hiking and all Northeast GA has to offer. This comfortable cottage is located off the beaten path and furnished with all the modern amenities. It is well appointed from the furnishings to the included corn hole, fire pit, s'mores kit and selection of coffees and teas. The wonderful private screened porch tucked back in the woods is the best place to enjoy your morning coffee. You will see and hear the wildlife along with the babbling creek. Deer like to walk by every now and then. The cottage is close to the main house and shares a large carport but offers the utmost privacy. The orientation of the cottage maximizes privacy and provides a wonderful sense of seclusion and tranquility. As the property owners, along with a professional cleaner, we manage everything from beginning to end. We are here to ensure you have an amazing vacation. We can address any thing you may need or want in a matter of minutes! Waking up to the mountain air in the comfortable bed in the master bedroom is the perfect way to start your day. The master bedroom has a king size bed, tv and large private master bath with a jetted soaking tub and huge master closet. The loft offers two queen size beds with its own private full bath and sofa for lounging. A small work area in the loft offers a wonderful hillside view. There is a full kitchen with everything you will need to cook the most amazing meal that even your mom would be proud of. The screened in porch has a loveseat and two rocking chairs with a coffee table. This is a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet and mountain air. It’s a great place to start and end your day. Wonderful reading spot or catching up with friends and family. There is a private courtyard off the screened porch. Steal away to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up. The firepit is located in the private courtyard. This offers the best place to have a fire under the cafe lights. This area protects you from the wind which cuts down on smoke in your eyes. On a clear night the star gazing is magical. We supply bathroom amenities in both bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee, tea, s'mores kit, kitchen cookware, kitchen towels, utensils and dishware. There are two TV's in the house. Both have a Roku and YouTube TV, Hulu and Netflix are provided. Although we are here to make sure you have the best mountain retreat, we will not bother you during your stay. We are available 24 hours a day to answer questions and assist in anything you may need. One covered parking space is available with an adjacent space for other cars. Guest access The entire cottage except for host closets. Other things to note The house and the property are amazing especially if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. We will provide directions and check-instructions via email before your arrival. Must be 25 years or older to book. All guest must be registered with host. 3 car maximum per stay unless agreed to time of booking. $50 non-refundable dog deposit per dog. Maximum 2 dogs allowed. Dogs cannot be left in cottage by themselves. They must tag along with you or be crated while your out and about.
