Mountaintop Glamping

Your secluded ridgetop hideaway includes sleeping space for six people. This tiny cabin is nestled among pine trees at about 7,000' elevation and has 180-degree views. Fire pit, hiking trails, BBQ stalls, loads of privacy--3 mile dirt road access. The space The cabin, nicknamed "The Dollhouse," has two main rooms and a sleeping loft with futons. A front deck overlooks the entire Tehachapi Mountain range, and you can drive right up to the base of the cabin. Indoor kitchenette (fully outfitted with camping equipment for cooking but no running water), no electricity, outdoor sink, outhouse, outdoor cold-water shower, several deck sites scattered across 22 acres for pitching tents or stargazing. It's like staying in a fire lookout--you're camping "in" instead of camping out. You will need to bring everything you would for a campout. There are limited kitchen items, so please come self-sufficient. Guest access The whole tiny home is yours to enjoy. There are a few cozy spaces to hide away for privacy, and each area has windows that allow you to catch the view. Other things to note This is a rustic experience--not a house, not a B&B, and not a resort. It's a glorified campground with complete privacy and virtually no amenities. This is where you come to get away from it all, not to bring any luxuries with you.
