The space Cabin on shores of Big Tupper Lake w/ interior wainscoting, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, shared use of dock, swim platform, grounds, kayaks and SUPs with nearby Lake Front Cabin. We love pets and kids but have a STRICT NO PET POLICY and no children under age 5, please. Circa 1920s ADK lodge for an authentic ADK experience, with modern amenities and upgrades for comfort. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and all that the major ADK lake has to offer, including deep-water swimming, boating, fishing and hiking in the heart of the Adirondacks. Shallow water access via dock's kayak/swim platform or stone steps. Hardwood floors refinished in 2024, new swim platform added in 2024, the perfect place to reconnect with nature and unplug and unwind with family and friends! Guest access Typical of historic ADK "Camps," the rental Cabin shares the waterfront, dock, kayaks, SUPS, swim platform and grounds with the nearby Cabin (usually occupied by your friendly but deferential hosts), and neighbor cabins are also nearby - a true ADK experience. There is plenty of space to enjoy the Lake on the one acre property with an expansive waterfront, and the lake is so uncrowded that you may find yourself alone among the loons and islands on a peaceful kayak ride! The swimming is also fantastic, with clear cool water for miles of shoreline accessible from the dock, kayak platform, or swim platform, and very little boat traffic compared to other major lakes. Other things to note STRICT NO-PET POLICY, we have very important reasons for this unique to the Property and our guests, so please make other arrangements for your pets and you will enjoy a little freedom from routine and be greeted by very happy pets when you return! Also, for important reasons unique to the Property, no children under age 5 (and children should be able to swim, given the close proximity to the Lake).
