This idyllic tiny house/yurt is situated within the borders of the quaint town of Roxbury but thanks to the private driveway and 15 acres for you to metaphorically get lost in (or find yourself!), you’ll feel like you’re a thousand miles away from everything. Enjoy the open floor plan the magical 8-sided structure offers but know you’ll have plenty of nooks to relax, read, write, or daydream. The space This couple’s or singles retreat is eclectic and boho without sacrificing on creature comforts, like the malm 360 wood-burning stove that you can see from everywhere in the room, full kitchen, or spa-like bathroom. Laze on the back deck or cuddle up by the backyard fire pit. It’s all good as far as the eye can see. Our audiophile sound system is tuned to the acoustics of the yurt and is perfect for feeling enveloped in the music as you stare at the architectural ceiling. The kitchen is fully stocked and comes with some extras like a waffle maker, blender, rice cooker , lobster pot, french press, electric fondue pot, emersion blender, toaster oven and microwave. There is also a propane grill. We have two shelves of books for you to read, sketchbooks, puzzles, popular and lesser known board and card games, a Roku smart TV that you can sign into all of your streaming accounts on, and throw blankets galore for snuggling up and reading. There are two yoga mats, a set of blocks, a yoga blanket, and a back buddy for all of your stretching and self care needs. We also have a disc sled, hammocks, and sleeping bags ensuring you can enjoy the outdoors year round. Guest access You can access all of the space. Other things to note There is no air conditioning in the warmer months, but there are fans and screened windows. In the winter the house is warmed with an electronic propane heater hooked to a nest thermostat, and a beautiful Malm Imperial fireplace.
