A cozy home in a tranquil setting nestled in downtown Tumalo on the river. The home is newly renovated, has two bedrooms, a wood burning stove, and is walking distance from restaurants & food trucks. A quick ten minute drive to downtown Bend. The living room has a large comfortable couch and an additional family room has a view of the river. A stocked kitchen is ready to make home cooked meals and we are pet friendly! Relax to the sounds and sights of the Deschutes River floating by, wildlife and the sounds of wood burning in the stove. Single story home features 1.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (one king and one queen bed), a living room and a family room. Home does have air conditioning and a wood burning stove with plenty of wood stocked. The kitchen is stocked with basic supplies, spices and oils for cooking meals at home. There is no garage access. Please note, the property is not fully fenced. It is almost an acre in size but there is wildlife that visit the neighborhood and yard. You will have the whole house and yard to use as your own. During summer, guests can begin their float down the river from Tumalo State Park a short distance away and land right in front of the property. Fishing is also allowed on the river. We are committed to providing a wonderful experience for guests. We are only minutes away if you need help with anything! Tumalo is a quiet & quaint town. There are food trucks (The Bite) just a 5 minute walk from the home that include a workout HIIT facility, a coffee shop, farmers market stands and a few small markets. There is great fishing, golfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and you can even float the Deschutes River (right from the house). Tumalo State Park is just a few minutes drive from the home and you can float from there to the house, takes about 30 minutes to float. Tumalo is 10 minute drive to downtown Bend, 12 minute drive to Redmond and 25 minute drive to Sisters. We ask that you please be respectful of others in the neighborhood and keep the noise down especially between 10pm and 8am. This is a quiet community and a great place to unwind, relax and get back to nature. Please drive slow when approaching the home. Please review the rules before requesting to book: No smoking. We don't allow smoking anywhere on the property. No parties. Home is dog friendly. There are pickup bags for you to pick up after your dog. We've also supplied additional sheets and towels for your pet to help keep dog hair on the furniture to a minimum. We'd prefer animals do not sleep on the furniture if possible. We have put a lot of time and love into our home and ask that you please be respectful and courteous and leave the home in the same condition as when you arrived. Thank you!
