Welcome to the Caretakers Suite at Camp Tosebo. Originally an innkeepers apartment, it is now a separate living space connected to our main building, The Clubhouse. The Caretakers Suite has a separate ramp entrance and has a deck, kitchen, living room, bath with a tub/shower combination and two bedrooms. In addition there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. A private fire pit and firewood are provided. The space A former boy's camp founded in 1912, Camp Tosebo is now a vacation rental resort nestled in 50 wooded acres on the southern shores of pristine Portage Lake. Step right out your door for an abundance of outdoor activities. The Caretakers Suite is one of four rental houses on the property which share the private beach and guest dock on Portage Lake. On the grounds there is volley ball, tennis, pickle ball, full court basketball, tether ball, a play ground, an outdoor fire pit and a vintage miniature golf course, all available to guests at Camp Tosebo. Portage Lake is a great swimming lake with a sandy bottom, excellent for boating, fishing, and all paddle sports. There is direct access to Lake Michigan by boat through the Portage Lake channel. Guest access Guests at the Caretakers Suite have access to the ground floor two bedroom apartment, an attached deck, an outdoor gathering area with fire pit, and all recreational amenities on the Camp Tosebo property.
