Midtown Walk to Overton Park/Square and Zoo

Our house is located in the heart of midtown, walkable to Overton Park (running/bike trails, the Memphis Zoo, Levitt Shell, Brooks Museum, and golf course) and Overton Square (live music, great restaurants, a movie theater, and playhouses). The house itself has 2 bedrooms each with a king-size bed, kitchen, a screened-in deck, and two living spaces perfect for relaxing and catching your favorite movie. Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime (including PBS Kids) are complimentary. The space Our house is a 1400 square foot bungalow nestled in the heart of Midtown, Memphis. Built in 1921, the house features high ceilings with large, spacious rooms and beautiful crown molding. Upon entry, you will find two separate seating areas—one with a comfortable sectional sofa and the other with a writing desk. There is also a large collection of board games, books, and toys available! The dining room has a large, square table that comfortably seats eight. There is a high chair available in the TV room closet if needed. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking at home, including an assortment of herbs and spices. If cooking is not for you, the house is within easy walking distance to many popular Memphis restaurants, including Huey's and The Bar-B-Q Shop. The master bedroom is fitted with a comfortable king-size bed and two dressers and a closet for storing clothes during your visit. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed along with two twin loft beds each with a closet and shelves. There is also a crib available if needed. The house sleeps a total of six guests. The one bathroom is small but has recently been remodeled. The screened-in back is perfect for relaxing or working from home and looks out onto a beautiful, fenced-in backyard that is perfect for the kids and dogs! We hope you love our home as much as we do! Other things to note The washer and dryer are downstairs in a partial basement (the walls are unfinished and the underside of the house is exposed). It’s very clean and tidy, but it is an unfinished basement.
