It is walking distance or just a short drive to Gomez Peak, Little Walnut trail system and the CD trail. This tranquil getaway is perfect for hikers, mountain bikers, bird watchers or anyone wanting a relaxing escape with cool weather, wildlife and starry nights. It is only a short drive to downtown Silver City. Guests will enjoy the peaceful setting, wildlife viewing, stargazing, outdoor activities and proximity to downtown. The tiny house has a lovely front porch for enjoying morning coffee where deer often graze. There is a relaxing patio area perfect for stargazing while enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fire. Inside the home you’ll find everything you need in a compact space. There is a well equipped kitchenette, bathroom with toiletries provided, a dedicated work space and a cozy sleeping loft. Our property is shared by family, guests and livestock. We ask everyone to be respectful of each others space and privacy. We live on the 12 acre property. We enjoy our privacy as much as our guests do. This is a quiet area with a few private properties surrounded by the Gila National Forest. It’s a great place to relax under the trees with birds chirping and light breezes blowing. For more active people, We are walking distance to hiking/biking trails and a short drive to downtown silver city where you will find conveniences like Walmart as well as small town charm. The CDT and other trails are walking distance or a very short drive from the property and downtown is less than 10 miles away. We are centrally located for many attractions like City of Rocks and the Cliff Dwellings. The kitchenette has a fridge, toaster oven, coffee pot, microwave and hot plate. There is no oven. Cell phone/data coverage is good here but it is definitely a place to “unplug”. WiFi can be spotty at times and I can’t guarantee it will work. I highly recommend checking in before sunset. The property is difficult to find after dark. Please follow the directions I have provided to the the property carefully. Please note, our property is on a dirt road. The driveway is steep and bumpy. 4 wheel or all wheel Is helpful but not necessary. Finally, as it states in the house rules, children under 12 and pets are not allowed. The maximum number of guests allowed is 2 people.
