The space Tucked away in the quiet, picturesque Shore's Farm log cabin community, Hemlock Hideaway is a charming log cabin retreat perfectly nestled between Boone and Blowing Rock. Surrounded by evergreen trees and peaceful mountain breezes, this cozy haven offers the ideal blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Step onto the covered front porch and instantly feel your worries melt away. Whether you're sipping morning coffee in a rocking chair, swinging gently with a good book, or soaking in the hot tub after a day of adventure, this outdoor space is made for relaxation. Inside, the main level welcomes you with a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for sharing meals with family and friends. The warm and inviting living room features a soaring cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, a stunning stone gas-log fireplace, and a large Smart TV with cable make this an ideal spot for cozy evenings in. Also on the main level, you’ll find a queen bedroom with a Smart TV, a second bedroom with bunk beds and a Smart TV, and a full bathroom shared by both bedrooms. Upstairs, retreat to the expansive master suite, complete with a king-sized bed, private full bath, large walk-in closet, flat-screen cable TV, and a quiet sitting area with a writing desk, the perfect spot for catching up on emails, taking care of a little work, or journaling your mountain memories. The open loft area upstairs also offers a comfy sitting space with a Smart TV and room for children to play or unwind. Located just minutes from the charming shops, restaurants, and attractions of Boone and Blowing Rock, Hemlock Hideaway offers easy access to hiking, skiing, and exploring all the High Country has to offer while still feeling like a secluded escape. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a peaceful weekend with friends, Hemlock Hideaway is your perfect home base for mountain living. Come make unforgettable memories in this tranquil Appalachian retreat. The Story Behind the Name: We rented it from a private owner in September of 2007. It happened to be on the market. I joked with the owner before we arrived that I would buy Hemlock Hideaway from him. We bought Hemlock Hideaway from him in October of 2007. We were enchanted with the area and all that it had to offer including wonderful weather and have not regretted our IMPULSIVE decision ONCE :) - Shane & Michelle, homeowners - Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Please note that this home is located in a neighborhood with full-time residents living nearby. The neighborhood also has a limit of no more than 2 unrelated persons staying in one home, as well as strict noise restrictions after 10pm. - This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - AWD or 4WD vehicles are required November-April. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • Pets are not permitted. Thank you for not bringing pets to the home. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
