The Loft1 w/Porch-Near Clarkson, SLU - Modern

At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and we have a swing set in the backyard that you can use. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. You will find yourself surrounded by maple, spruce, and tamarack trees, and Clarkson University is close enough to see. The space We are also 5 minutes away from SUNY Potsdam, 15 minutes from St. Lawrence University, and 20 minutes away from SUNY Canton. Each Loft unit has a fresh-air ventilation system (see details below). We adhere to a no-pet policy. We also do not house service animals. (see below for details) Other listings include: "The Loft 2" and "The Loft 3" The Loft 1 was constructed new in Fall 2020. It was specifically designed for the Airbnb traveler(s), and everything is in like new condition. Our LifeBreath ventilation system provides fresh outside air directly to each unit and exhausts the inside air directly to the outside. The volume of air in the entire unit changes approximately 2x in a 24-hour period. There is no cross-contamination of air inside the building. Per Airbnb guidelines, concerning service animals, this room is at our primary residence and is frequently used by persons who have allergies. The superhosts, Elisa and John have two other similar units and have been Airbnb hosts since August 2018. The Loft 1 is setup like an apartment efficiency. There are three beds, one king, one queen, and one twin, all in one room upstairs with a 65" large screen TV and sound system. The living area, kitchenette, and bathroom are all on the first floor. The kitchenette has an electric cooktop, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a sofa bed and a 43" TV on the first floor. There is no cable subscription. LG Free TV is provided and has most major news sources, sports, and movies. Apple TV, and other services are supported from guest's devices. High bandwidth wi-fi is available for streaming. We have a swing set in the backyard which you invite you to use. (see pictures in Backyard) Early check in time policy: 1) normal check in time is 3pm 2) early check-in must be approved in a message 3) cannot be determined until after previous guests leave 4) maximum early check in time is 2pm Late checkout time policy: 1) normal checkout time is 11am 2) late checkout must be approved in a message 3) must be requested at least 1 day prior to checkout 4) same-day late checkout request will not be considered 5) maximum late checkout is 12pm Guest access We have self-check-in. There is a parking area sign. Use door #1 between the house and garage. Other things to note You will have your own apartment in a stand-alone garage next to our house. We have 6.5 acres of lawn, seasonal sheep, and we are only 5 walking minutes from the access point to Clarkson University's nature trail that has a mile-long path along the Raquette River.
