You're a 5 minute walk to the Capitol Building and a short walk/bike/scooter/drive gets you to other wonderful places around St. Paul. Also close to Green Line Train that connects you to Downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul, the Airport, and Mall of America. The house was originally built in 1911, and retains all the original handcrafted woodwork and vaulted ceilings, and clawfoot bathtub of the period. It also boasts a recently renovated , elegant kitchen and bathrooms along with a modern, open floor-plan. We fell in love with the character of the aged oak woodwork, nine foot ceilings, antique radiators, and original golden Hardrock Maple floors. This winter, curl up with a blanket and a book while you enjoy a hot beverage. While you have access to the whole house, you'll also enjoy having a desk and armchair in your bedroom for when you need to get work, studying, or reading done without distractions. We don't need to be the only place you stay in your travels, just the best place you stay. Guest access You will have access to the whole ground floor, which includes a shared half-bath, spacious living room, elegant dining room, and large, modern kitchen. In the kitchen, the dishes, cooking equipment, fridge, and tea/coffee items are at your disposal. Complimentary laundry machines are available. There are three bedrooms upstairs - we will coordinate upon your booking which room or rooms you would like to occupy. To be clear, other guests will not be able to book the room(s) you are not occupying - you/your party will be sole occupants of the home. There is free off-street parking in our driveway which is just to the left of the house as well as locked and covered storage for your bicycle.
