Book our newly updated large chalet for your next family get together! With fresh Pocono air and lots of space to enjoy, come work, play and/or relax! Located in Big Bass Lake, an award winning and Gold Star Certified premier family community close to hiking, fishing, skiing, snow tubing & more. BBL has its own amenities, too! In the summer, access 2 lakes, an outdoor pool & splash pad, tennis, pickle ball & basketball courts, hiking & nature at its best! The space The house is a short drive from Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Camelback, Mt. Airy Casino, Montage Ski Resort,Montage Mountain, Pocono Raceway, The Crossing Premium Outlet Shopping, golfing, state parks and more! In addition, you can find a grocery store and restaurants within 15 minutes. Our 3,200 square foot chalet is located in the gated section of Big Bass Lake at the end of a quiet court on 3 acres with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, a wraparound deck and oversized loft on the third floor. Including free WiFi via a high end mesh router, you, your friends and family including pets ($100 pet fee for up to 2 pets; please ensure you choose the pet fee when bringing your furry friends) will have plenty of comfortable space to spread out and work, school or play. While on your stay, you have much to enjoy at the chalet. If you enter from the ground floor, you'll find the first of two wood-burning stone fireplaces (firewood provided!), a pool table, a large comfortable sectional couch with multiple reclining seats for enjoying the tv with Hulu, Hulu Live (local/sports channels), Disney+, a DVD player and surround sound. There's also a new beautiful bathroom with a rain shower, 3 bedrooms, snow tubes, snowboards, children’s bicycles (no training wheels), a razor scooter, extra folding chairs for outdoor or lake relaxing and a full-sized washer and dryer. Head up the steps to the second/main floor and to the right, you will see another brand new bathroom with a bathtub, a King bedroom (with iron and ironing board) as well as the main bedroom including a King bed, TV with Hulu, Hulu Live, Disney+ and more via Roku, an en suite bathroom and its own private sliding door to the wraparound deck. On this main floor, enjoy a warm and large open floor plan with tons of windows and light, high ceilings, a kitchen that has granite counters and all the kitchenware needed for your stay. There’s a dining table that seats 8-10, another sectional couch with a reclining seat, our second wood-burning stone fireplace, a 65” TV with Hulu, Hulu Live, Disney+ and more via Roku, DVD player, movies and sound bar for more game and movie enjoyment. The kids or kids at heart will probably go right upstairs to the loft and play foosball, bubble hockey or board games but you can also home school or work from the desk or just relax on the comfortable couches. We are in the highest point of the Poconos so it typically stays cool in the house at night during warm weather months. We have a split system for heating and air conditioning for your comfort and box fans in every bedroom. Outside, enjoy s'mores and relaxing by the fire pit, play a game of soccer, baseball or cornhole in the yard or even star gazing on a clear night. We have a charcoal grill (sorry, no garage to store gas for a gas grill), parking for many and wood for the fireplaces. You can also have an adventure and find your own sticks and wood for the fire pit in the wooded lot that’s yours for exploring. Thank you for booking! Other things to note Policies -Take care of our house so others can also enjoy it, too. 12 people max per BBL HOA. -No parties, smoking or vaping -Please note, in order to use the Big Bass Lake Community amenities, there is a $8 fee per person per weekday or $10 per person per weekend day or holiday that you will pay at the administration office, clubhouse or recreation center (weekly discounts available). Children under 7 are free with a paying adult. Beaches and outdoor pool are only open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The indoor pool and snowtubing is open during the off season. -Up to 2 Pets are permitted with a non-refundable $100 pet fee. Please select the pet fee during booking. -Cleaning fee of $275 includes price for sheets via Pocono Linen rental. Should you want to bring your own, please contact us so we may refund you $50 from this fee. -Per Big Bass Lake Home Owners Association, we must provide our Rental Applications advanced notice in order to process, so unfortunately, we can't always accept last minute rentals. However, please ask and if it is possible to accommodate, an additional $55 fee is required to process an expedited application. -Beds each have a mattress cover, pillows with pillow protectors, a quilt and extra fleece blankets in the bedrooms. Sheets are provided via our rental company but if you choose to bring your own, let us know and we can refund $50 (part of the cleaning fee). They will be delivered right to the front door on the day of your arrival in weatherproof tote boxes. All you have to do is put used sheets back in totes and place outside for pickup when you depart! -Rental requires a completed application for Big Bass Lake detailing every guest (12 guests maximum per the Home Owners Association) for gated security access. Initial $50 fee included in pricing but changes to application, once filed, will cost $16/change. -Nightly fee is not based on guest total; no fee for added guests. -Typically 2 night rentals required but may be adjusted during holidays and/or peak seasons. -Towels: Bath and Hand Towels will be available for you and included provided that you wash and return them to their places before departure. You may also bring your own or contact us for rental pricing of these items. Kitchen towels, rags and bathroom rugs are included. -Beach/Pool Towels: Towels not provided at the pools or lake. You may bring your own or contact us for rental pricing. -If using the provided towels, they must be washed, dried, folded and returned to their original places or additional charges may result.
