Beautiful private glamping site located on 96 acres of native Texas Prairie and Cross Timber forest in Lockhart - the BBQ capital of Texas. Just 30 minutes south of Austin, your glamping site has all the comforts of home with a spacious tent with a queen bed, 2 twin beds, deck, fire pit and private bath. The entire site is powered by solar. Estes Preserve offers guests access to miles of hiking and biking trails, all within a short drive to Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio. The space Get away from the crowds of the city in our 16 foot square Wall Tent. Your campsite offers complete privacy to unwind and be comfortable in a real bed. Sit by the camp fire and enjoy the natural surroundings. The site also includes a private bathroom complete with a sink and shower with hot and cold running water and a composting toilet. Enjoy camping without the work. To accommodate larger groups, upon request, traditional camping tents can be added to the site. There is an additional charge for groups larger than 4. For an additional charge we can add a 2 twin bed to the tent to accommodate a 5th person. Please send us a message to make special arrangements. Your site is clean and sanitized before and after your stay. We also provide products to you for additional cleaning if you need it. We provide a French press coffee maker is provided. Your campsite also comes with bedding, towels, a Zero Water filter pitcher, 2 fans, propane heater in the colder months, plates, bowls, cups, eating utensils, cast iron pans, cooking utensils and fire-starting supplies. Please respect our privacy as we will be respecting yours. There are no firearms or fireworks allowed on the property. Hunting is not allowed. Other things to note Glamping allows you to enjoy all nature has to offer in south Texas. This includes the songs of crickets, frogs, the distant coyote, and the many birds passing through.
