I no longer provide shower soaps (shampoo, conditioners etc) because people tend to buy their own preferred types and brands and I don't like to pollute the environment with half used bottles REASONS NOT to BOOK: 1 - If you/your group/pet might be loud :( Sound travels pretty well here, so it’s important for us to keep it a peaceful home for the neighbors, as well as for you to know that you might hear them as well. 2 - If you/your group isn't going to treat our space/rules with respect or read the listing or our messages. ❤ More DETAILS ❤: 1 bedroom APARTMENT ideal for: - a single traveler - business traveler - a couple ❤ with/without kids SLEEPING: 1-2 guests can enjoy the KING BED in luxury but we can comfortably host up to 4 people maximum if sharing beds: - 2 in the bedroom on the KING bed - 2 on the QUEEN sofabed in the living room OR ...if separately: - 1 in KING bed - 1 on QUEEN sofabed ALL the EXCITING DETAILS you NEED to KNOW: ★ LOCATION - No need to go further than the airport when you come to LA - our location is PERFECT for exploring the best areas - 10mins to the best BEACHES, 25min to Malibu/downtown. Hollywood/Beverly Hills - about 40mins in moderate traffic. Visiting Hollywood + DISNEYLAND? - we're in between everything! ★ POOL - catch some rays by our newly remodeled pool (unheated) ★ PATIO/BACKYARD - your own little space to sit outside the apartment, but also a shared backyard with greenery and a nice swing chair AND NEW BBQ! ★ PARK - enjoy fresh air, sports and famous California sunsets right next to your building ★ WORK - desk with a pool view, surge protector, fast Wi-Fi, iron, coffee and more! ★ TV's - 55" and 40" smart flat-screens connected to Netflix, Prime, Hulu and more ★ LAUNDRY - coin-operated washer/dryers in the building ★ PARKING - (not gated) RESERVED parking space AND easy street parking ★ PETS - IF you let us know in advance, well BEHAVED, house trained pets will be approved with MANDATORY $80 extra cleaning/extra risk fee to assure the next guest of the hypoallergenic cleanliness of the unit. **Dogs that whine or bark while alone may NOT be left by themselves. No running around unleashed. NO exceptions! LARGE GROUP?? — we have multiple apartments in the same building that can accommodate many guests. Like staying in the same hotel, but different rooms :) OPTIONAL fees: *PLS BOOK IN ADVANCE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT* - Surf board - $150/month - Pet Fee (extra risk, extra cleaning) - $80 flat - Luggage Storage - $10 per day - Early Check-in/Late Check-out - $20 per hour (if available) RULES 1 - STRICT QUIET HOURS policy: 9pm - 9am. Please respect our neighbors peaceful hours :) There is a manager on duty 24/7 and he will take action if there's any misconduct 2 - ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING of any kind ANYWHERE in the apartment OR on the territory of the building including parking and pool. Fines apply and you will be evicted with no refund for breaking the building rules. Thank you so much for reading! Guest access all Other things to note FULL transparency so you know EXACTLY what you're getting, so please don't hold it against me in reviews :) 1) being next to the park, it is possible to encounter ants between REGULAR pest treatments (usually, only in the summer). Please do your part by keeping the place clean. Do not keep/defrost meat outside the fridge and please dispose sanitary items in extra baggies, as these are carnivorous ants and they're out for blood and meat :) 2) pool is not heated (like most california pools) but it does warm up in the sun 3) this is definitely a building for reasonable people who don't create lots of noise. Manager is on site and if excessive, unnecessary noise or smoking is reported...swift consequences will follow. It is easy to hear the neighbors, but thats almost everywhere. 20+ apartments live here happily. We had over 1000 guests in various units over the years, which also found the place quiet and comfortable, many of whom love it so much they became regulars :) BUT, I don't want to minimize any issues, for SOME, being in apartment where you can't be as loud as you like, or might hear the neighbors might be an issue. If you are sensitive, feel free to ask more questions. 4) we don't have a carbon monoxide detector because we don't need one...we don't have a gas stove :) 5) we recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your stay. Like ALL hosts who don't own their property, we are not able to provide refunds outside allowed cancelation dates. Unfortunately, I cannot take on the financial burden if you change your mind or something happens, as I still have to pay rent no matter what. Thank you for understanding and being a well prepared traveler :) 6) we have some beach/pool essentials, but we don’t know what you expect, there’s definitely some towels and probably a snorkel mask or umbrella …I don’t remember which unit has what :) Thank you for taking your time :)
